Zombie Boy inspires Lady Gaga Monster High range

Lady Gaga has launched a new doll inspired by her friend Zombie Boy to raise money for her charity.
The pop superstar has teamed up with toy manufacturer Mattel to release Zomby Gaga, a doll inspired by her to champion kindness, instil bravery, and build a world where young people celebrate their differences.
The doll is part of the Monster High range and Zomby Gaga has a skull face based on model-and-singer Zombie Boy’s own facial tattoos and he is thrilled to have helped her on the project.
Zombie Boy – who appeared in Gaga’s ‘Born This Way’ video – exclusively told BANG Showbiz: "So Lady Gaga is dropping a new doll by Mattel for the Monster High series, Gaga is being Monster High-ed. The doll incorporates my trademark skull-face look from ‘Born This Way’. So I’ve been co-operating with her on this project. It’s for charity for Lady Gaga’s Wish Foundation. It looks really great."
Zomby Gaga was designed by Gaga’s sister Natali Germanotta and will be available to buy from October 17.
Proceeds from sales of the collectable will go to the Born This Way Foundation, which was created by Gaga and her mother Cynthia Germanotta in 2012 to support the wellness of young people and empower them to create a kinder and braver world.
Zombie Boy – real name Rick Genest – already has a doll out in his likeness and he’s looking forward to playing with his figure and Gaga’s.
He laughed: "That would be nice, I get the two dolls together and play with them."
Zombie Boy hopes he will work with Gaga, 30, in the future following this collaboration.
He said: "I haven’t spoke to her about her album. Things are about to happen, it’s a small world and something might bring us back together for work. ‘Born This Way’ happened about six years ago."
Walking corpse Zombie Boy – who has 90 per cent of his body covered in body art – has been working with Thorpe Park to launch their Fright Nights attraction Platform 15, an interactive horror maze featuring over 30 live zombie actors modelled on his terrifying look containing explosions, séances, Ouija boards and thick fog.
Thorpe Park Fright Nights – featuring the brand new scare maze Platform 15 starts from October 7. Visit Thorpepark.com for more information.
