Zara Phillips and daughter Mia attend Festival of British Eventing

Zara Phillips and daughter Mia Tindall were the centre of attention at Gatcombe Park’s Festival of British Eventing.

Britain’s Queen Elizabeth II’s great-grandaughter enjoyed a day out with her mother at the equestrian festival at the Gloucestershire residence of Zara’s mother Britain’s Princess Anne over the weekend.

The previous day (08.08.15) Zara and Mia were joined by Zara’s sister-in-law Autumn Phillips. and her two daughters and Queen Elizabeth’s youngest son Prince Edward and his 11-year-old daughter Lady Louise Windsor.

Onlookers watched on as 34-year-old Equestrian Olympic medallist held her daughter in her arms, as she ate a healthy snack, an apple oblivious of the attention they were receiving.

Zara had previously said how she hopes Mia will grow to love sport as it was always in her’s and her former Rugby captain husband Mike Tindall’s lives.

She previously told British HELLO! magazine: "We have always had sport in our lives and through our childhood. I think that really is important in every child’s life to have that opportunity. I think we have got it off our parents and hopefully we can pass that on to Mia."

While Mike, 36, added: "Mia will be whatever she wants to be, we will support that."
