Zara McDermott wants to go back to work in the civil service.
The 21 year old took a 12-month career break to appear on reality TV show ‘Love Island’ but insisted that she will return to work at the Department for Education.
Speaking on BBC Radio 5 Live, she said: "I’d love to [return]. I’ve got a career break at the moment which gives me a chance to make the most of my youth and the opportunities that have come my way, with the possibility of returning back to Westminster in the future.
"The door is well and truly open for me to go back. I think they are keen for me to go back whenever."
Meanwhile, Zara recently got a tattoo of Adam Collard’s initials to show her love for her fellow ‘Love Island’ star.
The government advisor has a tiny tat of the letters ‘AC’ on her finger and she went under the needle before Adam had the letter ‘Z’ branded on his hand.
Speaking exclusively to BANG Showbiz, Zara said: "Basically, Adam said, ‘You’ll never get my initials tattooed on you,’ so then I, as a bit of a loose cannon, decided to get AC on my finger.
"So I got that on my finger, and then I was like, ‘So now I’ve got my one, you need to get your one.’ "
The pair have been inseparable since leaving the villa, and 22-year-old Adam thinks Zara is "definitely wife-y material".
He said: "I’m branded up now, she’s not going anywhere and I’m not planning on going anywhere."
Brunette beauty Zara is so confident in her relationship with Adam that if she were in the villa when the notorious lie detector test was going on, she wouldn’t have cared about asking him serious questions.
She said: "Do you know what, if I’m completely honest, I don’t really care – I’d probably ask things like, ‘Would you let Zara have two cats?’ Things like that.
"There’s nothing burning I want to know the answer to. I’m not really like that".
Adam puts this down to being too honest for his own good.
He said: "I’m one of the more honest guys; I’m probably too honest when I should take other people’s sensitive feelings into consideration – I don’t really lie."
