Royal couple Zara and Mike Tindall will appear on ‘Top Gear’.
The Queen’s granddaughter and her retired rugby player husband – who have daughters Mia, five, and 12-month-old Lena – will appear on the brand new series of the motoring show on June 30, in the segment titled ‘Star In A Reasonably Fast Car’.
Bosses are hoping Her Majesty will "tune in".
A source at the BBC told the Daily Star newspaper: "It’s a major coup for us to get Zara and Mike.
"Now [hosts] Paddy [McGuinness] and Freddie [Flintoff] are on board they clearly have the pulling power to get A-list guests.
"Perhaps the Queen will tune in."
And the broadcaster seemed to have been impressed by Paddy and Freddie’s work, as it was recently revealed the pair have signed up to co-host their second series of ‘Top Gear’ with fellow presenter Chris Harris.
A show source said: "The minute the trio started filming bosses saw the spark between them.
"They’re really pleased with how it’s started and with all the footage they’ve already got in the can for series one."
While only one episode of the trio’s ‘Top Gear’ stint has aired on the BBC so far, the presenting triple threat are already preparing for "bigger challenges" in their second series.
The source added: "They have been warmly received by viewers, too. Ratings are up on last year, which is a good sign.
"Now Freddie and Paddy have got their feet under the table, the ante will be upped for series two.
"They’re going to go for bolder locations and bigger challenges. This should bring great scenes and laughs for the audience."
The 27th ‘Top Gear’ season got underway last Sunday (16.06.19) and beforehand, Paddy admitted the new-look team already felt like they had been together for "a few series".
He said: "With us, I was so pleased that we all clicked straight away.
"It [feels] like we kind of already did a few series, which I was really pleased about, because that was a worry you know, do you get on do you not? But we all do."
