X Factor live show thrown into chaos after Lloyd Macey’s grandma is mobbed

The ‘X Factor’ live show was thrown into chaos earlier this week after Lloyd Macey’s grandmother was mobbed by fans and had to be "escorted" out of the building.
The 23-year-old singer’s beloved Nanny Chris was left overwhelmed in Cardiff, Wales, on Monday (19.02.18) when she attempted to go home after visiting Lloyd before his gig and was surrounded by fans desperate to grab a selfie with her.
Speaking to The Sun Online, Lloyd said: "Nan started to leave and everyone just surrounded her, grabbing selfies with her, and all my social media pages were filled with posts going ‘we had a picture with your nan! She’s amazing.’
"It took them 20 minutes and had to escort Nan out of the building, the bouncers had to say ‘yeah she has to leave!’ She couldn’t believe it, she said ‘this is so overwhelming, I can’t believe the reaction!’ And on the phone this morning she said ‘It’s fantastic! It’s Nanny Chris and asking for my signature. I haven’t practiced!’"
"Not many people can say that of their nans! That they’ve been escorted out of the building because of a crowd. But yeah, she loved it."
Nanny Chris won over the hearts of the nation last year when she appeared on ‘The X Factor’ supporting her grandson as he auditioned in front of the judging panel.
He added: "I thought she’d be really shy about the whole thing, and I wasn’t sure how she was going to take it. But I think she actually loves it – as soon as you put a camera in front of her, she comes alive.
"I couldn’t believe, we were all standing behind the stage when Becca Dudley interviewed Nan and she had such an amazing cheer, we were like ‘wow, Nanny Chris is the star of the show’, but she loved it. She really enjoyed it."
