Willow Smith wants to be in a polyamorous relationship with "one man and one woman".
The 18-year-old daughter of Will Smith and Jada Pinkett Smith is interested in the idea of being in a "throuple" – which is a consensual polyamorous romance between three people – and says she loves men and women "equally" so would ideally like to be romantically involved with one man as well as another woman.
She said: "I love men and women equally and so I would definitely want one man, one woman. I feel like I could be polyfidelotous with those two people. I’m not the kind of person that is constantly looking for new sexual experiences. I focus a lot on the emotional connection and I feel like if I were to find two people of the different genders that I really connected with and we had a romantic and sexual connection, I don’t feel like I would feel the need to try to go find more."
Willow made the comments as she appeared on her mother’s Facebook Watch show ‘Red Table Talk’ alongside her grandmother Adrienne Banfield-Jones, and told them she wouldn’t be interested in a quadruple.
She added: "Personally, male and female – that’s all I need."
The family were joined by a throuple made up of one man and two women during the episode, and Jada previously said it was her daughter who suggested the guests for the episode.
The ‘Girls Trip’ star said earlier this month: "It’s a throuple that Willow was actually following on Instagram. That’s how it all came to be. She became very curious about this whole polyamory thing."
And when asked if her daughter would eventually be in a polyamorous relationship, Jada added: "She’s 18 – who the heck knows what’s going to go down, you know?"
