Will Young set to star in Strictly Come Dancing?

Will Young is to compete in this year’s ‘Strictly Come Dancing.’
The 37-year-old singer impressed BBC producers with his footwork when he appeared on the show to perform the single ‘Joy’ so much last year that he’s been asked to join the next series later this year as one of the celebrity contestants.
A source told The Sun newspaper: "Will is a brilliant signing for us. He is extremely popular, he is a true professional, he can be quite competitive and he is no shrinking violet."
Bosses hope the ‘Evergreen’ hitmaker will have no trouble putting acid tongue judge Craig Revel Horwood in his place after he locked horns with Simon Cowell when he competed on ‘Pop Idol’, which he went on to win, in 2002.
The source explained: "Viewers loved the fact he stood up to Simon. So we cannot imagine he will hold his tongue when facing the wrath of judge Craig Revel Horwood."
Bosses of the show are remaining tight-lipped on this year’s celebrity line-up but it’s believed singer Anastacia, presenter Laura Whitmore and legal expert Judge Rinder are on the hit list.
Meanwhile, this year’s series, which will hit screens in the autumn, has been given a huge shake-up as three new dancers will be joining the professional line-up.
World Champion Katya Jones, Ukrainian Champion Oksana Platero and top Spanish dance professional Gorka Marquez will help to guide the celebrity contestants on the dance show, which features judges Len Goodman, Bruno Tonioli, Craig Revel Horwood and Darcey Bussell.
Pasha Kovalevsky, Aljaz Skorjanec, Giovanni Pernice, Natalie Lowe, Joanne Clifton, Janette Manrara and Oti Mabuse will also return to the programme as professionals alongside favourites Anton du Beke, Brendan Cole and Kevin and Karen Clifton.
