Will Mellor ‘on the verge’ as he loses power during lockdown

Will Mellor was left "on the verge" during the coronavirus lockdown, as his home suffered a power cut.
The 43-year-old actor was close to tears when he was left without entertainment after his home lost electricity on Sunday (29.03.20), amid the pandemic.
Sharing a video of himself to Twitter, captioned: "We’ve got a power cut!!! #losingit #testing #isolation #covid19 #powercut (sic)"
In the clip, he ranted: "I’ve had to go outside, I can’t believe it. We’ve got a power cut. A p***ing power cut. I can’t believe it."
Will claimed he was being "tested" by someone "up there", just days after Prime Minister Boris Johnson announced UK residents were not allowed to leave their homes unless shopping for basic necessities, or for one form of exercise a day.
He continued: "It’s like I’m being tested, it’s like someone up there is saying, ‘You thought this isolation was hard? Now try without your TVs, or your game consoles, or your fridge or your freezer.’ They’ll be taking our food off us next."
Will – who has kids Renee, 12, and Jayden, 16, with wife Michelle McSween – decided to keep his kids entertained with some classic family board games.
He added: "I’m on the verge, I’m on the p***ing verge. Jesus, a p***ing power cut! Pontoon and p***ing Cluedo it is then. S**t!"
However, three hours later he gave his Twitter followers an update, revealing he had power again.
He wrote: "We have electricity!!! (sic)"
It comes after the actor recently admitted a remake of sitcom ‘Two Pints of Lager and a Packet of Crisps’ – which aired from 2001 to 2011 – isn’t likely, because he claimed his co-star Sheridan Smith hasn’t spoken to him for "three years".
He said: "Sheridan just won’t talk about it. She’s not spoken to me in about three years now. She won’t answer the phone.
"So, there’s just no point in going down that route.
"Sheridan just won’t talk. I don’t know what happened. We spoke probably three, maybe four years ago and since then all of a sudden she wouldn’t return any messages or calls.
"I wanted to be there for her, but she’s just not interested so I just thought there is no point in going down that road.
"And we can’t get a ‘Two Pints’ reunion together without her, so me and Ralf thought we’d come up with something else."
