Will.i.am unsure of his future on The Voice

Will.i.am might not follow ‘The Voice’ when it moves to ITV.
The 40-year-old star has occupied one of the spinning coaches’ chairs since the talent show first aired on the BBC in 2012 but has admitted he’s still undecided whether to continue the role when the rival broadcaster begins airing the series in 2017.
He confessed: "The only reason why I come back to do ‘The Voice’ – it’s not because it’s a big pay day – it’s because it’s the BBC! So I don’t know (what I’ll do). I haven’t made my mind up. It’s not like there’s a replacement gig at the BBC waiting there for me to decide over – that’s hard."
The final BBC version of ‘The Voice’ is currently airing with will.i.am, Boy George, Paloma Faith and Ricky Wilson trying to find a new pop star.
Despite being one the best loved judges on the programme, the Black Eyed Peas member admits he never wanted to be a TV star and only took the job because the BBC approached him.
He told Digital Spy: "I really like the BBC. Not that I don’t like ITV, I just never wanted to do television. I didn’t have dreams of doing TV. My dream was never to be a TV guy, it was to make music. So I got a call from (the BBC) and they said, ‘We think you would be good on TV.’ "
