Victoria Jensen has become the first contestant to voluntarily leave the ‘Big Brother’ house during the current series.
The 30-year-old environmentalist and her twin sister Emma broke out of the house after the eviction on Friday night (10.06.16). Emma subsequently had a change of heart about the move and decided to re-enter the house, but her sibling stood by her original decision.
A spokesperson for ‘Big Brother’ explained: "Victoria has this morning decided to leave the Big Brother house, her twin sister Emma will continue as a housemate in ‘Big Brother’."
In the hours leading up to her departure from the house, Victoria had alarmed TV viewers with some of her erratic behaviour, which included breaking down in tears over the compound’s lack of plants.
She admitted, too, that she was struggling to adapt to her new environment.
Victoria told her fellow housemates: "I really feel like the animals – I really love them."
She also revealed she found it hard to live alongside people who ate meat.
She said while sobbing: "When I’m living at home, I don’t usually have meat and fish in the house and I can’t control it.There’s no plants or anything."
The latest dramatic development in the ‘Big Brother’ house is complicated further by the fact that Emma and Victoria were originally competing as one housemate.
