Vicky Pattison wants to inspire people with weight loss

Vicky Pattison hopes her fitness journey can inspire other people to get healthy.
The former ‘Geordie Shore’ star’s new programme ‘Ex On The Beach: Body SOS’ – which starts tonight (17.01.18) at 8pm on MTV – will see her "impart [her] wisdom" on 16 contestants as she aims to help them become confident with their own bodies.
Speaking to ‘This Morning’ hosts Holly Willoughby and Phillip Schofield on Wednesday (17.01.18), she said: "I wanted to impart my wisdom, some of the things I’ve learnt along the way, to other people in similar positions who are unhappy with what they see in the mirror."
Although she was lighthearted as she opened up about bikini pictures in the press that she saw as less than flattering, Vicky candidly admitted it has taken her a while to become comfortable with herself.
She added: "It’s taken [me] a long time to joke… I took positive steps to change my body, change my outlook and ultimately change my life.
"It’s been a real journey for me, but it’s also been such a positive experience."
Last summer, Vicky revealed how she is "standing up" to her trolls and won’t let them body shame her.
She said: "I don’t want to be silenced. I’m not ashamed of my body and I won’t let anyone make me feel ashamed of my imperfections. They make me who I am, they make me unique. Nobody is perfect.
"What even is perfect? If I have to stand up to every troll who criticises me weight or my shape, I will! I’m not just doing this for me, I’m doing it for every woman. I want them to know that whether they’ve got long legs, short legs, an enormous bum – whatever it is they’re gorgeous and beautiful and they deserve to look sexy every single day."
