Vicky Pattison is having therapy to stop her partying.
The former ‘Geordie Shore’ star is working hard with life coaches Nik and Eva Speakman to control her explosive drunken outbursts and calm her wild ways.
She said: "I’m having therapy to curb my booze-filled partying. Nik and Eva have been in my life for a year.
"They joke how I sat there with my arms crossed when I first went in and within an hour I was sobbing, unearthing issues I didn’t know I had. For years I told myself I was a horrible person and an awful drunk. I’d ignored the fact that I’m a control freak and situations that I can’t control, like ‘Geordie Shore’ where you’re told where to go what to say and who to be with, trigger something in me.
"Add alcohol to the mix and it was obvious why I behaved the way I did at certain times."
The 28-year-old star wants to be more responsible as she focuses on her new career as a presenter.
She added to Closer magazine: "I’m not 21 any more, I’m closer to 30. I’ve never missed work because I’ve had a night out. I’m a perfectionist. I don’t like being tired. I want to put my days of being irresponsible behind me. I want to be a TV presenter."
But that doesn’t mean Vicky, 28, will be giving up alcohol altogether.
She said: "It’s not about me giving up the drink altogether, it’s about making sensible decisions and that’s something we’ll work on."
