Vicki Michelle wants to take part in the next series of ‘Strictly Come Dancing’.
The 67-year-old actress has been "brushing up" on her dancing skills and thinks her background would serve her well if she was able to secure a slot on the BBC Latin and ballroom competition.
She is quoted by the Daily Star newspaper as saying: "I’ve always said I’d love to do ‘Strictly Come Dancing’.
"I’ve actually been brushing up on my dancing.
"I did also used to do a lot of ballroom dancing with my dad, so I know what I am doing.
"Watch this space."
The former ”Allo ‘Allo’ actress recently admitted her "first love" was dancing, but she’ll always be passionate about acting, and is particularly fond of stage work.
She said: "My first love was ballet, which I started at the age of three, but at 14 I turned my attention to acting.
"Before going to drama school I took my O Levels and did a secretarial course in case I needed something to fall back on if the acting didn’t work out.
"But luckily I went on to have a brilliant career and at 18 I was performing opposite Dudley Moore in a West End production of Play It Again, Sam.
"After that, I didn’t look back. Even after all these years I still love performing, especially on the stage.
"There is something so magical about watching an audience’s reaction change as a story unfolds."
Meanwhile, Steps singer Claire Richards recently admitted she’s also keen to compete on ‘Strictly’.
Speaking exclusively to BANG Showbiz, she said: "If I was to do anything, I would love to do ‘Strictly’, it’s right up my street in terms of the lovely costumes and hair and make-up. It’s all very glam. It all looks amazing until you are in it and then it’s like, ‘Oh my god, what am I doing?’"
