Vick Hope has been confirmed for ‘Strictly Come Dancing’.
The 28-year-old radio DJ is "so excited" about appearing in the BBC Latin and ballroom show later this year, admitting the series will be a "huge challenge".
Vick said: "I’m so excited about being a contestant on this year’s ‘Strictly’.
"I’ve always been such a massive fan of the show so it’s a huge honour to be part of this series."
The ‘Capital Breakfast’ presenter loves to dance because it makes her happy, but feels like she has a lot to learn before competing in the series.
She said: "Dances like ballroom and Latin are totally outside my comfort zone, but I love dancing, it makes people happy – myself included.
"To be able to perform every Saturday is such an incredible opportunity – I couldn’t be looking forward to it anymore and I will be throwing myself into it, working hard and learning from the judges every week."
Vick boasts a degree from Cambridge University, and the multi-lingual presenter is making waves in the world of broadcast.
She co-hosts ‘Capital Breakfast’ every morning with Roman Kemp, and also presents 4Music Trending Live and Box Fresh.
In 2018, Vick joined ‘The Voice’ and ‘The Voice Kids’ as a digital reporter, as well as fronting Sky One’s Carnage alongside Freddie Flintoff and Lethal Bizzle.
Vick is the fifth celeb to be confirmed for ‘Strictly’ after the BBC revealed Katie Piper, Faye Tozer, Danny John-Jules and Joe Sugg will all don their dancing shoes later this year.
