Vic Reeves and Bob Mortimer making Michael Jackson glove movie

Vic Reeves and Bob Mortimer are making a movie about the late Michael Jackson’s iconic white glove.
The ‘Big Night Out’ comics wrote the screenplay for ‘The Glove’ a decade ago and have now secured backing from production company StudioPOW and can’t wait to get started.
Vic said: "We wrote it, we’re in it and we’re filming it next year."
The 59-year-old comedian – whose real name is Jim Moir – described the film to the Daily Mirror newspaper as "a new ‘Holy Grail’ but the Holy Grail is Michael Jackson’s glove."
And StudioPOW have promised a number of "legendary comics and actors" will be involved in the "laugh-out-loud" comedy.
They wrote on their website alongside a photo of the duo: "We had a fantastic meeting in our Soho offices with the legends that are Vic Reeves and Bob Mortimer.
"There wasn’t a dry eye in the house but we weren’t crying. Time was spent reading aspects of the script and discussing cast.
"What should have taken 2 hours took 4 due to the ongoing laughter breaks!
"We are hugely excited at the potential of this laugh-out-loud comedy. We already know that it will be packed full of legendary comics and actors."
They finished the blog post by promising further casting announcements in the coming weeks.
We will have more announcement of cast in the coming weeks.
Meanwhile, Vic recently revealed he is also busy working on ‘Disco Pier’, a movie about the 1979 Disco Dancin’ Championships.
He will play a groover in the movie, while his wife, Nancy Sorrell, will play a member of a rival dance team.
Vic said: "I could have been a champion myself. And I will be in this film."
His co-writer, former ‘Emmerdale’ actor Tony Pitts, will also star in the movie, which will film next year.
