Unromantic Wayne and Coleen Rooney

Coleen and Wayne Rooney are not "romantic".
The 30-year-old beauty met the soccer star when she was just 12 years old and she admits that, as they’ve gotten older and become parents to sons Kai, seven, Klay, three, and Kit, 13 months, they don’t really go in for grand gestures any more, but that doesn’t matter as they still love each other and enjoy being together.
Asked if Wayne is romantic, Coleen said "No, not so much, neither of us is really romantic. He used to be when we were younger, when we had more time on our hands.
"He’s loving but I wouldn’t say romantic.
"But I don’t know whether I’d want a really romantic husband.
"We enjoy each other’s company and we’ve lasted together, which is good."
But the couple do have a pact to enjoy one date night a week without the distraction of their sons.
Coleen said: "We try and have one night a week without the kids, whether it’s going to the cinema or a restaurant or a concert and just spend that time together.
"We stick to that so we have time to talk to one another."
While Kai is a keen footballer at the moment, Wayne won’t be putting any pressure on any of his kids to follow in his sporting footsteps.
Coleen told OK! magazine: "Wayne is just like any other dad, he really enjoys watching and supporting Kai.
"He doesn’t take it all too seriously, he wants the boys to love playing and not worry about the future because that would be the quickest way to put them off playing."
