U2’s Super Bowl tribute to 9/11 victims

U2 performed a tribute to those who lost their lives on September 11, 2001 – 9/11 – in the Twin Towers terrorist attacks.
The performance came five months later, in 2002.
Bono and Co performed ‘Where the Streets Have No Name’, with the names of all of the victims behind them, and the band’s frontman rocked the US stars and stripes in his jackets lining.
