Tyson Fury lands reality TV show ‘Meet The Furys’

Tyson Fury has landed his own reality TV show.
ITV’s ‘Meet The Furys’ will follow boxer Tyson and his family, including ‘Love Island’ star Tommy, as the sportsman fulfils his childhood dream of defending his heavyweight boxing lineal championship in Las Vegas and prepares to take on his arch-rival Deontay Wilder for a second time.
Filmed over several months, the four-part series will bring viewers into Tyson’s Morecambe home and the Gypsy King’s family site for a candid portrait.
Tyson’s wife Paris, their five children, his father John and assorted family and friends will all feature in the series.
According to ITV it will "reveal the most complete and intimate portrait of the Gypsy King ever seen" and will candidly capture him amongst his inner circle of family and friends who have lived through Tyson’s mental health and addiction issues with him".
‘Meet The Furys’ was commissioned by Kate Teckman, Head of Development Factual Entertainment, and Sue Murphy, Head of Factual Entertainment, at ITV.
Kate said: "This is a unique opportunity to gain an insight into this enigmatic figure whose battles inside and outside the ring have made him one of the most talked about people in popular culture. With unprecedented access, this series aims to offer a full picture of Tyson Fury and his background that is sure to pin viewers to the ropes."
Tommy previously revealed he would love to do a show with his brother.
He told the Daily Star: "We’ve got to take everything we’re offered and look at it to see if it’s a path we want to go down. But I already know I would 100 per cent want me and Tyson to do a show together.
"We’re two contrasting characters, so I think that would be a fun route for us to go down. It would be something new for us. We’ve trained together and sparred a bit, but we’ve never worked together before."
