Luisa Zissman joins Big Brother’s Bit on the Side

Luisa Zissman has joined 'Big Brother's Bit on the Side'.
The former 'Celebrity Big Brother' contestant, who was part of the show's most popular series to date on Channel 5 in January, has been hired to appear on the companion show along with Emma Willis and Rylan Clark.
Luisa will serve as a roving reporter on 'Bit of the Side' and will also be on the panel of 'Big Brother's Bit on the Psych' with Rylan and Iain Lee. The show will dissect the antics in the house from a psychological perspective with the help of the panel and trained psychologists.
The 26-year-old star celebrated her new job on Twitter today (16.05.14), but it seems she is not giving up her day job, running a bakery and her own line of baking products.
She wrote: "Yay so excited to finally let you all know I'm joining the Big Brother presenting team and will be on your screens all summer!
"For those asking about my business mon - fri I'll be in the office Sat, Sundays & Mon nights will be presenting ... work hard play hard (sic)"
Luisa was one of 'Celebrity Big Brother's' raunchiest housemates earlier this year when she was joined in the famous reality TV house by Jasmine Waltz, Lee Ryan, Casey Batchelor and Dappy.

Khali Best crashes £18,000 car

'EastEnders' star Khali Best has crashed his £18,000 car.
The actor, who plays mechanic Dexter Hartman, found himself in need of a repair himself after his Audi A3 collided with a van in rush hour traffic on Thursday morning (15.05.14).
Eyewitness Monica Pringle told The Sun newspaper: "I was walking up the road when he came round the corner in his car. A van in front was driving slowly and he drove past it and the collision happened."
The incident took place in Enfield, North London, and the 26-year-old star quickly attracted a crowd, who recognised him from his role in the BBC One soap and took pictures of his damaged car.
Khali was reportedly dressed in jeans and a blue bodywarmer - the same outfit he was pictured wearing in a snap on his Instagram account the night before.
In January, the 26-year-old star won the Best Newcomer prize at the National Television Awards for his role as Dexter.
He credited soap veteran Steve McFadden - who plays Phil Mitchell - for helping him settle in.
Khali previously told BANG Showbiz: "Steve was just like, 'EastEnders is a beast but you have to learn to work with it. It's like a machine and you're one of the cogs, so as long as you're in it and you keep your head down, and you keep passionate about the work, you've got nothing to worry about.' "

Emma Willis to control next Big Brother

Emma Willis will take control of the next series of 'Big Brother'.
The next series of the reality TV show will have a 'Hunger Games'-like theme, with the 38-year-old presenter expected to take on an even bigger role on the show.
Emma will be able to offer one lucky housemate the power to decide how competitors are treated and who is up for eviction.
In a dark twist, the brunette beauty will also be able to shift the power between hopefuls, creating a hostile environment similar to that faced by Oscar-winning actress Jennifer Lawrence in the blockbuster 'Hunger Games' movies.
The movie's motto, 'Kill or be killed', echoes the show's latest theme, which will see the housemates fight to exercise control over each.
A source told The Daily Star: "It will be explosive. They won't know what's hit them.
"'The Hunger Games' was about a TV show where young people fought to the death to be victors. While we don't want anyone to actually die, the housemates really will have to be on their toes to fight to stay in the game."
The Big Brother house has also been given futuristic and high-tech makeover for the new series, which will air on Channel 5 in June.

Corrie’s Steve and Michelle to split

Coronation Street's Steve McDonald and Michelle Connor are to split up.
The soap couple - played by Simon Gregson and Kym Marsh - will hit the rocks in the wake of the tragic death of Michelle Keegan's barmaid character Tina McIntyre later this month.
The split is prompted when Michelle discovers Steve was aware that Tina had an affair with Peter Barlow (Chris Gascoyne) - the husband of her pregnant pal Carla (Alison King).
Michelle screams at Steve, telling him he's got "blood on your hands".
According to the Daily Star newspaper, she adds: "I don't want to share my bed with a liar."
Tina's impending death will also result in a split between Anna Windass (Debbie Rush) and Owen Armstrong (Ian Puleston-Davies), after Owen discovers Anna has slept with his sworn enemy Pat Phelan (Connor McIntyre).
Michelle Keegan, 26, who plays Tina, recently admitted she was surprised when she discovered 'Corrie' bosses have decided to kill off her character.
She said: "I was a bit [surprised] at first. They told me they would leave the door open initially and a few months down the line, the producers said they'd done a storyline conference and the writers had pitched a really good leaving storyline for me.
"I was shocked initially because leaving a soap and having a door open can be a safety net, but then I was told how it was going to affect the street's characters for the rest of the year and I was hooked!"

Richard E. Grant: Downton Abbey was surreal

Richard E. Grant found starring in 'Downton Abbey' very "odd".
The 'Withnail and I' actor has long been a fan of the ITV period drama so jumped at the chance to play art historian Simon Bricker in the upcoming fifth series of the show, but once he found himself on set with the likes of Dame Maggie Smith and Elizabeth McGovern, the experience became totally surreal.
Speaking at the Fragrance Foundation Awards 2014 in London last night (15.06.14), he explained: "It's just slightly odd when you've been a fan of the show and you suddenly find you're one of the characters. It's like going through the fourth wall. I had a really enjoyable time."
Richard revealed he had already finished filming his guest role, which spans four episodes and sees him play a friend of the Crawley family.
However, he denied recent reports he had got into trouble with show creator Julian Fellowes for being "very naughty" by posting pictures of himself on set on Twitter.
He said: "That was fabricated. There's an embargo on the storylines but I didn't actually reveal anything."
Following on from his recent guest role on hit show 'Girls', Richard revealed he has landed yet another major US TV gig.
The 57-year-old actor teased: "I'm about to go to Israel for five months for an American TV series."
Richard was wearing a snazzy Union Jack print jacket at the fragrance event to celebrate the success of his first scent, Jack.
He joked: "My perfume's called Jack and it comes with a Union Jack bag, so I'm a one man brand."
Alesha Dixon, Jodi Albert and 'Strictly' dancers James and Ola Jordan joined Richard on the red carpet at The Brewery last night.

Ricky Wilson asked to return to The Voice

Ricky Wilson has been asked to return to 'The Voice'.
The Kaiser Chiefs frontman was one of the four coaches on the last series of the BBC One talent show and proved to be very popular among viewers but is waiting to find out who'll be joining him coaching the contestants before he confirms his spot on the panel.
He told The Sun newspaper: "The BBC asked me back, but I asked who else was doing it and they haven't got back to me.
"So I don't know the other judges, and that's a major part of it. I don't want to sit on the end of that panel with just anybody!"
Ricky, 36, admitted his fellow judges Will.i.am, Tom Jones and Kylie Minogue - who is not returning for the forthcoming series - helped him out in "different ways".
He added: "The judges were all such a big part of it for me and helped me through it, in different ways, whether it was Will teasing me into coming out of my shell a bit more, Tom being supportive or Kylie reminding me there were 16 cameras pointing at me whenever she could, because I kept forgetting.
"They really helped me through it so I'd have to know."
Although he enjoyed his time on the programme, Ricky has touring commitments with his band following the success of their fifth studio album 'Education, Education, Education & War' and he admits one of the motivations for him joining the line-up was to spread the word about his new record, something he no longer needs to do.
He previously revealed: "I loved doing 'The Voice', although I didn't enjoy it at the time. It was really hard work but at the same time one of the most rewarding things I've ever done. If you asked me the day before it ended (if I'd come back), I'd be like I don't know, but the day after I kind of missed it a little bit. I don't know if I'll be back at the moment because the first time I did it I had a really strong reason to do it and that was the pride I had in the record."

Georgia May Foote: Corrie axe like being dumped

Georgia May Foote says being axed from 'Coronation Street' is like being "dumped" by a boyfriend.
The 23-year-old actress is to depart her role as Katy Armstrong and though she will be sad to leave Weatherfield, she is looking forward to what the future holds.
She said: "I was a bit gutted that leaving 'Corrie' wasn't my decision - it's like a boyfriend dumping you first. But I'm really excited. If anything, it's given me that kick I needed to move on to other things."
The pretty starlet has been nominated for Sexiest Female at the British Soap Awards and is stunned to have made the shortlist for the accolade.
She said: "I'm so flattered by my nomination - but I wouldn't have put myself up for that award, so it's a complete surprise. I feel sexiest in my onesie!"
Though Georgia is engaged to her plumber boyfriend John, they won't be tying the knot just yet.
She told Britain's OK! magazine: "We've been so busy we haven't really thought about getting married - it won't be this year."
'Corrie' boss Stuart Blackburn recently confirmed Georgia's character won't be killed off, meaning she may be able to return in the future.
He said: "Katy will not be killed off and the door will be left open for a possible return. We wish Georgia every success with her future career."

Gemma Collins: Vicky Pattison jibe a ‘low blow’

Gemma Collins has accused Vicky Pattison of using her to promote her new TV show.
The 'Geordie Shore' star recently lashed out at Gemma, claiming 'The Only Way is Essex' chatterbox was "rude" to her at a showbiz event and acted like "she owned the place".
However, the bubbly blonde insists she has never met Vicky and is disappointed to hear the star - who appears on new MTV reality show 'Ex on the Beach' - be mean about her.
Gemma exclusively told BANG Showbiz: "I was really shocked because I've never met her. It's been really hurtful for me to read this, I've never met her.
"I don't know where it's come from and I also find it upsetting that someone's had to run me down and speak of my name to promote their new TV show."
Gemma also reveals she rooted for Vicky, 26, and was incredibly proud of her weight loss last year, after the star shed 10 dress sizes.
The 'TOWIE' star explained: "When she lost all that weight, I thought, wow, well done to her, how amazing. I haven't even responded to any of it because I've never ever met her. It was very disappointing. I didn't want to embarrass her by saying I've never you. It's a shame she feels that way about me because I only had positivity towards her. It was a bit of a low blow."
Gemma Collins' SS14 Collection is now available from www.gemmacollinsofficial.com.
