Hollyoaks’ Lindsey to fall pregnant

Hollyoaks' Lindsey Butterfield is to fall pregnant.
The junior doctor, played by Sophie Austin, will discover she's expecting a baby later this month - but viewers will be left wondering if the father is her on/off boyfriend Joe Roscoe (Ayden Callaghan) or his brother Freddie (Charlie Clapham).
Lindsey shares the exciting news with Joe and the Roscoe clan, but Freddie - who had a fling with his brother's lover earlier in the year - begins questioning if the unborn child is his.
Sophie told All About Soap magazine: "When I found out, my initial reaction was, 'Oh my God, it could be anyone's baby!' But Lindsey is adamant it's Joe's. This is her way of getting things back on track and she's going to fight hard for her family.
"But obviously she did sleep with Freddie, so that's niggling away in the back of her mind as well."
Lindsey tries to convince Freddie the baby isn't his, but it seems the soap hunk isn't 100 per cent sure.
Sophie explained: "I think he believes that it's his baby. He's trying to add things up and confronts her, asking if the child is his. Lindsey tells him it's got absolutely nothing to do with him and the baby is definitely Joe's, but Freddie isn't convinced."

Anton Du Beke: Bruce Forsyth is my ‘hero’

Anton Du Beke has hailed Sir Bruce Forsyth as his "hero".
The 'Strictly Come Dancing' professional paid homage to the show's former host - who quit his role earlier this year - and admits working with Bruce was one of the reasons he joined the BBC ballroom dancing competition in 2004.
Appearing on ITV's 'Lorraine', Anton said: "I'm going to miss him enormously because he has always been my hero, even pre-'Strictly Come Dancing' ... so when the idea of 'Strictly' came around and Bruce was going to be the host, well, for me, this is the greatest thing in the world!
"I absolutely love him and I'm thrilled to be able to say that we've become close friends. I say that from my perspective, he might see it as another story of course!"
The dancer has become such good friends with Bruce, 86, the TV legend has agreed to be part of Anton's new stage show, which is a tribute to the great American songbook.
Anton added: "I mentioned it to Brucie a couple of weeks ago, he called me a few days ago and said 'I think I'm going to come along and do a couple of songs.' So Brucie is coming along and he's going to do a couple of numbers, so there you are!"

Michelle Collins still recognised as Cindy Beale

Michelle Collins is still recognised as Cindy Beale 17 years after she quit 'EastEnders'.
The 52-year-old actress played the cunning first wife of Ian Beale from 1988 to 1998 and she is constantly called Cindy by soap viewers when she's out and about.
Quizzed if she's still recognised as her former character, she said: "Oh, all the time! I haven't been in 'EastEnders' for 17 years but I still get it from workmen calling out, 'Oi, Cindy!' What do you do? Say, 'Hello boys!'? I can't stand that, I just wanna die ... no that's not quite true, you just have to learn to embrace it."
Michelle, who quit her role as Stella Price on rival soap 'Coronation Street' earlier this year, has also ruled Cindy - who died during childbirth in 1998 - out of the murder of her on-screen daughter Lucy Beale.
She told the Metro newspaper: "I can confirm that I am not the killer of Lucy Beale. At least as far as I know."
Michelle added: "She was a twin, wasn't she? I met my supposed other daughter once, that was weird. Didn't look a bit like me! She obviously took after the dad."

New Carter family secret revealed in EastEnders

'EastEnders' is to reveal another big Carter family secret next week.
Dean Wicks (Matt Di Angelo) will overhear Mick (Danny Dyer) and Linda Carter (Kellie Bright) discuss another shocking revelation in the Queen Vic following Linda's big birthday party.
The married couple aren't aware that Dean - who believes Mick is his uncle - can hear their conversation, but after Mick goes upstairs to bed, Linda realises Dean is still in the pub and urges him to keep quiet about the secret.
The latest Carter revelation follows the shock twist that Mick is in fact the son of Shirley Carter (Linda Henry), and not her brother as he believes.
Mick and Linda will be at the centre of more emotional scenes next week as the mother-of-three tells her husband she wants another child on her birthday.
The pub landlord appears taken aback by Linda's admission and viewers are left wondering if they both want the same thing.
Matt recently revealed he thinks Dean will enjoy discovering he is Mick's half-brother as he wants to be like the soap favourite.
He said: "Mick is Dean's half-brother and I think Dean's reaction to that will probably be a sharp intake of air, in which I'll hold the moment and wait for some kind of godly duff-duff!
"After that moment has passed, I think he's really going to like it. Secretly, I think Dean wants to be Mick - he wants his life, so I think he'll quite enjoy having a big brother. But I don't think it's going to be filled with too much happiness for too long."

Tamzin Outhwaite: I’m not unlovable after split

Tamzin Outhwaite doesn't feel "unlovable" following her "shock" split from ex-husband Tom Ellis.
The former 'EastEnders' actress ended her seven-year marriage to the 'Miranda' star last year after he allegedly cheated on her, but Tamzin - who has two daughters, Florence, five, and 20-month-old Marnie Mae with Tom - is now eager to move forward and doesn't feel "damaged" by her very public divorce.
Speaking in the new issue of Good Housekeeping magazine, she said of the split: "It was a complete shock.
"It's been a tough year but when things like this happen to you, your resolve and strength of character come through.
"We are rebuilding quite well. I don't feel unlovable or damaged. I'm thinking about what the possibilities of my future now are.
"I would have done anything to keep my family together but it wasn't to be. I do feel pretty strong."
The 43-year-old actress has credited her close friends for helping her through the painful split.
She added: "Some people didn't mind sitting there listening to me talk and still do. It makes you realise who your friends are - which friends you would go into battle with and which ones you don't mind just going shopping with.
"I feel very lucky to have the love I have in my life, and losing one person doesn't change that."

Gary Busey signs up for Celebrity Big Brother

Gary Busey has signed up for 'Celebrity Big Brother'.
The 70-year-old star - who is best known for playing the title role in 'The Buddy Holly Story' and also starred alongside Keanu Reeves in 'Point Break' - has reportedly made a deal to compete in the new series of the reality show this summer.
Helen Flanagan, the former 'Coronation Street' actress and reality TV enthusiast, was also offered a place in the house but is said to have turned it down, leaving Channel 5 bosses desperate to top the success of its previous series, which starred Luisa Zissman, Blue's Lee Ryan and Jasmine Waltz.
A 'Celebrity Big Brother' insider told The Sun newspaper: "The pressure is on for producers to match the last series of 'CBB' but it's going to be tough.
"Bosses always like a Hollywood star in the mix and Gary ticks that box."
The veteran actor most recently appeared in the hit US series 'Entourage', where he played an exaggerated version of himself, and in reality show 'Celebrity Rehab', where he was treated for substance abuse.
'CBB' producers are hoping he will open up about his experiences in Hollywood when he enters the house.
Meanwhile, 'Gogglebox' star George Gilbey - who is a firm favourite on the Channel 4 series - is set to join Gary on the show.
The source added: "Producers hope George will be a cheeky chappie but are gutted Helen turned them down."

Michelle Keegan wants comedy role

Michelle Keegan wants to star in a comedy series.
The former 'Coronation Street' actress hasn't figured out her next career move after leaving the ITV soap last month, but says her dream is to act in a more light-hearted show because playing Tina McIntyre provided her with enough drama to last a lifetime.
She told Britain's OK! magazine: "I haven't had a chance to stop and think. It's been a total whirlwind. Obviously doing [my new Lipsy] fashion collection is a dream of mine and I want to continue acting. I'd love to do a comedy series.
"When I was in 'Coronation Street' it was quite drama heavy with lots of crying, but I loved doing the comedy scenes with Steve McDonald."
Michelle - who is set to tie the knot with former 'The Only Way is Essex' hunk Mark Wright - hasn't ruled out trying her luck in Hollywood, either.
She said: "I wouldn't mind giving it a go, so I can never look back and think, what if? It doesn't intimidate me, though - I'd like to at least say I tried."

Emmerdale’s Adam Thomas has never been happier

Adam Thomas has never been happier.
The 26-year-old actor - who plays Adam Barton on 'Emmerdale' - has had the best year of his life as he awaits the birth of his first child with his long-term girlfriend Caroline Davy.
He told The Sun: "This has been my best year ever -- at work and outside of work -- and I can't wait for what happens next.
"Life's honestly the best it's ever been. Everything I'm doing is really exciting -- I feel very lucky."
The former 'Waterloo Road' actor - who has starred on the ITV soap since 2009 - admitted his personal life is a world away from that of his troubled character.
A recent explosive storyline saw the young farmer confront his uncle, James Barton (Bill Ward) with a shotgun after it was revealed he was actually his father
Adam said: "Family is everything to me so I can completely see where Adam is coming from. He's a real family man but he's so lost at the moment. He's in turmoil.
"Everything he thought he knew, everything he thought was real has been taken away from him. It seems like his whole life has been a lie.
"The man he's grown up with isn't his dad at all and he's pretty angry about that, as anyone would be."
Meanwhile, Adam - whose first child is due this autumn - says he and his dance teacher partner are in no rush to get married.
He said: "Not yet. We're very happy but I think we've got enough on our plates at the minute.
"I'm sure we will one day but for now it's one step at a time."

John Cleese plans TV show about religion

John Cleese wants to make a TV show about religion.
The 74-year-old actor has hinted that once Monty Python's 10 live shows at London's The O2 arena, 'Monty Python Live (Mostly): One Down, Five To Go', come to an end, he plans to turn his hand to writing for television and find a network to develop a historical project he has in mind.
He revealed during a press conference at the London Palladium theatre: "In a year's time I think there will be surprises. For example, I suggested to ITV I wanted to do a series about religion and what it would be if the churches hadn't f***ed it up. I thought it would be very interesting but [the head of ITV's] eyes just glazed over. So I'll have to see if anyone else wants it."
Michael Palin chuckled: "'How The Churches F***ed It Up', I can just see the title now, coming to you on ITV. With jolly John Cleese!"
The five remaining Pythons - John, Michael, Eric Idle, Terry Jones and Terry Gilliam - will perform on stage for the very last time together on July 20 and 'The Last Night of the Pythons' is set to be broadcast in 1800 cinemas around the world and shown live on UKTV Gold.
When questioned about the decision to choose UKTV Gold over the BBC, which aired the original 'Monty Python's Flying Circus' series from 1969 until 1974, John mused: "Why doesn't BBC air Python? They have the rights and they haven't put us out for ages. But quite honestly, somebody else made the decision."
This comes after the 'Fawlty Towers' star blasted the BBC for not understanding the true nature of comedy.
He said: "One of the things that makes me saddest about the way the country has gone since I was young is the BBC. I look back at what was really a magnificent institution that, for economic reasons, has been thinned down and become something very different."
New tickets for 'Monty Python Live' go on sale today (01.07.14), while this week sees the release of the complete collection of all nine albums, 'Monty Python's Total Rubbish', by Virgin EMI Records.
