TNA Wrestling announces British Boot Camp 2

TNA Wrestling is launching 'British Boot Camp 2' later this year.
The grappling company has announced the return of its popular reality show on Challenge, which sees UK stars vying for a spot on the organisation's roster, with Gail Kim, Al Snow and Samoa Joe confirmed as this year's judges.
At London Film & Comic Con yesterday (12.07.14), TNA made their big announcement - with a guest panel including Al, Magnus, Robbie E, Brooke and 'Cowboy' James Storm - and revealed the second season will be made up of eight episodes, split into two sections based in the UK and then the US.
The contest will start with 12 competitors - a dozen of the brightest British grapplers - while six of them will join the company on tour when they appear in the UK in January and perform in front of their home crowds.
From here, the final two will wrestle in New York City in front of an energetic crowd, with only one wrestler earning a spot on the TNA roster.
Last year's winner was Rockstar Spud - now one of TNA's top talents - and Jeremy Borash, 'British Boot Camp' executive producer and TV presenter, is keen to find a similar success story this time round.
He said: "The number one question I always get from fans across the UK is 'when will we get a second season of 'British Boot Camp'?'
"And with the first season's popularity, combined with the incredible success of Rockstar Spud, we couldn't be more excited with this news.
"Everything about season 2 will be bigger, more competitive and more exciting for our fans. If you loved the first season of Boot Camp, then fasten your seatbelt."
Professional wrestlers over the age of 18 are being invited to try out for the show in televised trials, which will take place in Glasgow, Manchester and London in August 2014.
To apply for a spot at the trials, email [email protected].

Mel B begs to avoid X Factor groups

Mel B has begged 'X Factor' bosses to not give her the 'group' category.
The former Spice Girls singer would reportedly feel under too much pressure to turn one of her acts into a new version of the iconic band and while producers have always decided which judge mentors which set of contestants, it is said they are willing to listen to her request.
A source told the Daily Star Sunday newspaper: "Never in the history of the show has a judge been able to dictate what category they are given.
"But Mel knows producers want to keep her happy so she thinks she might as well make demands."
Her fellow judge Cheryl Cole is said to also be trying to help her chances of winning by asking for a certain category, and it has meant bosses are now considering giving each mentor an act from each set.
The insider added: "This would completely change the show. As Simon [Cowell] is keen to do things differently this year, it's a real possibility. It would give the live shows a completely new dynamic.
"The general consensus is that the show looked stale and ratings dropped. But this would certainly refresh it ... It won't be long before a final decision will be made about the categories.
"The producers are keen to keep Mel and Cheryl happy so there's a good chance their demands will be met."

Khali Best was suspended due to taxi driver assault

Khali Best was suspended from 'EastEnders' for attacking a taxi driver.
The 26-year-old star - who plays mechanic Dexter Hartman on the show - was given a three-month ban from the soap and it has now been reported it came after the assault in March.
Cab Peter Callow has opened up about the vicious attack which left him "bleeding" and broke his glasses.
He told The Sun on Sunday newspaper: "I was absolutely dazed. I was bleeding. He gave me a black eye and broke my glasses."
Khali accepted a police caution for common assault and criminal damage after the incident, which took place after the Television and Radio industries Club Awards.
Peter added: "He looked like he was totally out of it for the whole journey. It took three quarters of an hour and the fare was £61 but he refused to pay me.
"He said he had no money and started phoning a few mates ... He asked me to take him to a cash machine. I told him if he had a card he could put it into the machine I had in the cab but he wasn't having any of it.
"He then said, 'No, no, no' and with that he started kicking the car door. I got round to stop him doing it and he managed to open the door and thumped me."
A BBC spokesman confirmed: "Khali Best was suspended for three months earlier this year.
"We will not be commenting any further on this matter."

Eamonn Holmes: Ruth Langsford’s bum is better than Kim Kardashian’s

Eamonn Holmes insists Ruth Langsford's bum is better than Kim Kardashian's.
The 54-year-old broadcaster has claimed his wife and fellow 'This Morning' presenter, also 54, has a more attractive derriere than the 'Keeping Up with the Kardashians' star, who is famous for her curves.
Quizzed on whether he'd ever met the Kardashians, he told Closer magazine: "No, but I would love to. I think Kim's very attractive, but I don't like her voice.
"So I'd like to look at her but not listen to her. Kim's got an amazing bum but Ruth's is better!"
Eamonn also revealed that he and Ruth travelled to Italy for a friend's wedding at the same time as Kim's recent nuptials to rapper Kanye West and he pretended he'd been at the extravagant ceremony.
He explained: "Ruth and I were in Rome that weekend and, when we flew back on the Monday night, three people in the airport asked us if we'd been at their wedding, which was in Florence.
"I was telling people we couldn't say anything about it because we were sworn to secrecy!
"One person said, 'You're so lucky Eamonn, you know them all don't you?' We had been to a wedding in Italy - just not theirs!"

Amanda Barrie getting married

Amanda Barrie is getting married to her partner after almost decade together.
The 78-year-old 'Coronation Street' legend and crime writer Hilary Bonner, 65, have announced their engagement and joked they risked "cutting it a bit fine" if they waited any longer to tie the knot.
They told The Sun newspaper: "As our combined ages will be 144 at the time of this cosmic event, we felt we might be cutting it a bit fine if we left it much longer.
"In any case, our dog was feeling insecure."
Their wedding invitations joke that they are keen to take advantage of recent gay marriage laws and "make it legal" for the sake of their pet pub Coco, and they will have their big day at the Theatre Royal in London.
Amanda - who was previously married to late theatre director Robin Hunter - came out as bisexual in 2002.
Meanwhile, it was recently revealed she will appear in the next series of ITV sitcom 'Benidorm' next year, where she will be reunited with former 'Corrie' co-star Sherrie Hewson.
A source previously said: "It's a thrill to have Amanda back on the box. She and Sherrie are a hoot together."

Danielle Armstrong gives James Lock relationship contract

Danielle Armstrong has given James Lock a written relationship contract.
The 'TOWIE' beauty is reportedly prepared to give the reality star - who was caught cheating as well as admitting to possession of Class C drug ketamine earlier this year - another chance, providing he agrees to strict terms for their romance.
An insider told the Daily Mirror newspaper: "Danielle means business. She loves James, but he humiliated her publicly and she's not prepared to go through all that again.
"Therefore she's laying down the law this time. James knows he messed up royally and is bending over backwards to try to make it up to her.
"But he know it's a long road and there'll be temptation on the way."
He was given a conditional discharge after admitting possession and banned from 'The Only Way Is Essex' for four months, and now faces a strict code of conduct as a result of his alleged cheating.
The terms are said to include stopping him from going more than one night a week, no following "random girls" on Twitter and a ban on hotel room or after parties.

Ricky Rayment planning to propose to Jessica Wright

Ricky Rayment is planning to propose to Jessica Wright.
The 'TOWIE' star - who has been in a relationship with his fellow cast-member for over two years - hinted that he is keen to ask the 27-year-old beauty to marry him, although he refused to reveal when he is going to pop the question.
Asked when he was going to propose to the stunning brunette, he told Star magazine: "That has to be a secret. It could be sooner, it could be later ... I can't tell you!"
Ricky added that he is feeling pressure from the hit ITV2 reality series to get engaged but doesn't want to rush popping the question after watching many of his co-stars relationships fall under the 'TOWIE' curse.
He said: "It's the TOWIE curse. There have been so many relationships that haven't made it because everyone has rushed things.
"People were getting engaged after a year, or moving in together after six months... We've done it at our own pace, the way we want to, and we're still together."
Meanwhile, Ricky is looking forward to attending the wedding of Jessica's brother Mark Wright and his fiancée, former 'Coronation Street' actress Michelle Keegan.
He said: "They're such a great couple. I really get on with Mark - he's like an older brother - and Michelle's a really down-to-earth girl. I'm happy for them to be settling down and hopefully starting a family."

Jale Karaturp evicted from ‘Big Brother’

Jale Karaturp was evicted from 'Big Brother' tonight (11.07.14).
The psychic - who was nominated for eviction for the past four weeks - became the fifth housemate to leave the Channel 5 series after going head-to-head against 18-year-old Ashleigh Coyle in the public vote.
The 33-year-old customer service advisor from Surrey, England received a mixed reaction from the crowd upon leaving the house, but told host Emma Willis: "It wasn't too bad."
She added: "I feel a bit numb, it's surreal."
Jale wasn't surprised that her fellow contestants wanted her out of the house because she said she had become unfocused and a bit grumpy.
She also admitted she found her time on the reality TV show challenging, but she was determined not to give up and ended up having "a brilliant time" inside.
Emma revealed earlier in the evening that Christopher Hall and Chris Wright had both been saved from eviction.
Tonight's episode also featured the "most graphic scenes 'Big Brother' has ever shown" when entrepreneur Steven Goode allegedly had full sexual intercourse with Playboy model Kimberly Kisselovich as the cameras rolled.
Jale looked visibly shocked when Emma asked her if she knew the duo were having "happy times" under the covers.
The sixth eviction will take place on Monday (14.07.14).
