Ola Jordan ‘nervous’ about Strictly without husband

Ola Jordan is "nervous" about being on 'Strictly Come Dancing' without her husband.
The dancer's spouse James Jordan has been axed from the professional line up of the talent show and though Ola is "excited" about having a different experience without him, she will miss his protection.
She said: "I feel very strange and a little nervous. But it is excited nervous. It's going to be very different, but I'm looking forward to it.
"He was like a protective blanket so I will definitely miss him being there. I was always a shy and timid person, but I feel strong now."
Ola admits her first reaction when she heard James was leave was to quit too, but her spouse told her to stay.
She said: "I have massive respect for James. We went on the show together and I always thought we would leave it together. I was prepared not to return, but James said, 'Just do it, it will be a different experience for you.' "
Ola is "very sad" about Sir Bruce Forsyth's departure as co-host on the show, but is looking forward to seeing his replacement Claudia Winkleman working with Tess Daly.
She told Britain's OK! magazine: "I'm very sad about it. Bruce was a gentleman and always had time to have a chat with me. I will miss him a lot.
"It will be very interesting [with Claudia and Tess]. I'm looking forward to seeing what will happen. They are two women but are so different - anything could happen."

Zoe Birkett evicted from ‘Big Brother’

Zoe Birkett was evicted from 'Big Brother' tonight (01.08.14).
The 29-year-old singer left to a mixed reaction from the crowd after saying goodbye to the other housemates and claimed she was "really excited" to be the 10th contestant to be evicted.
She told the show's host Emma Willis in her post eviction interview: "I was really excited to see my family!"
Zoe insisted she had no regrets about appearing on the Channel 5 series, saying: "I wanted the experience, to see what it was like for me."
But she found it "hard" to enter the house on day 40, as many of her fellow contestants had become "seriously paranoid," and she now hopes Pavandeep Paul will be crowned the winner of the show.
Asked how it felt to be nominated, she said: "Me and Pav would be up every single week...they've all got bonds and been in there for a longer time."
But she added: "I was concerned about Pav all the time...emotionally, I'm a lot stronger than many of the people in there.
"All of them but me and Pav had a hidden agenda."
The former 'Pop Idol' contestant hit back at suggestions she is "stuck up" after poking fun at Tesco employees on the show, claiming she was merely "misunderstood."

Cheryl Cole’s ‘natural’ insults to Simon Cowell

Cheryl Cole says her insults to Simon Cowell "come out naturally".
The 31-year-old pop star, who has returned to 'The X Factor' judging panel this year along with Simon, claims the music mogul so often annoys her she can't help but bite back with insults of her own.
Simon, 54, and Cheryl have always enjoyed playful jesting on the show and the music mogul admits his co-star is "easy to wind up".
Speaking at the London auditions for the new series at Wembley Arena today (01.08.14), Cheryl told BANG Showbiz: "They just come out naturally. It's so easy because he's so rude sometimes, they just come out naturally. I don't even have to have them ready!"
But there'll be no bickering between the 'Crazy Stupid Love' hitmaker and new judge Mel B, as Simon has rubbished talk of a female feud on the judging panel.
He said: "This whole thing about girls falling out or whatever, that's not happening. I mean everyone we put on the show is extremely sensible - they put the hours in, find stars, work with the talent."
Cheryl also weighed in on her relationship with the former Spice Girl, revealing they've got on like a house on fire.
She enthused: "We've both been in girl bands, we've got great camaraderie and we sometimes say the same thing at the same time - it's weird!"
The pop star - who discovered 'X Factor' winners Alexandra Burke and Joe McElderry during her first stint on the show from 2008 to 2010 - is determined to find another winning star this year, but wants to ensure they are a "fresh" talent.
She explained: "People always say we're looking for the next One Direction or Olly Murs, but I'm not looking for that. I'm looking for somebody that's fresh that we haven't got in the industry at the moment."

Chloe Madeley embarrassed by parents’ sex boasts

Chloe Madeley wishes her famous parents wouldn't boast about their sex life.
The 27-year-old beauty - the daughter of former 'This Morning' hosts Richard Madeley and Judy Finnigan - has responded to her dad's revelation that he and his spouse have a healthy appetite in the bedroom.
Chloe said: "Nobody wants to think about their parents having sex. Ever! But mine talk about it for the whole of Britain."
But the fitness trainer went on to defend her parents, adding: "Actually, good on them. As long as they're happy."
Chloe admits she struggled with her identity growing up as she felt like she was living in the shadow of Richard, 58, and Judy, 65.
She told the Daily Mirror newspaper: "I was struggling to make the transition from teenager to adult and unfortunately, the first thing I decided I wanted to do was be on television, which is very public. But my only identity was as my parents' daughter and so I was only being offered reality TV shows the majority of the time, which I didn't want.
"I wasn't getting taken seriously because of who my parents are. I felt like I didn't have anything to be proud of myself and that just made my anxiety worse."
Chloe credits her ex-boyfriend Danny Young with helping her overcome her issues by introducing her to fitness and exercise.
She enthused: "The anxiety and panic attacks have gone away and I think the exercise is a massive part of that."

Cheska Hull’s boyfriend not interested in MIC role

Cheska Hull's boyfriend has no interest in appearing on 'Made in Chelsea'.
The reality TV star has been in a loving relationship off-screen with her beau for two years but he has no plans to appear on the E4 show with her.
Speaking to BANG Showbiz at the launch of new free-to-air channel truTV in east London yesterday (31.07.14), Cheska said: "He just doesn't want to do it and I respect him for that, and it's sometimes nice to go home to someone who isn't all about 'MIC' and I respect his decision. We're probably still together because he's not on it."
The blonde starlet admits it's difficult to balance her reality TV career and a relationship away from the cameras, but 'Made in Chelsea' producers respect her privacy.
She added: "It can be quite difficult sometimes. We've been together two years now so he's used to it, I'm used to it. The show respects me and knows I'm very much in love, they never get in the way of things."
Cheska has been part of the core cast of the BAFTA-winning show since it started in 2011 and has no plans to quit.
She enthused: "I'm very loyal to the show. I love doing it. I'm doing Series 8, which has been great fun, and I plan to do the show for as long as I can.
"Obviously, I run my own company and I work very, very hard on that. I have a boyfriend that's not on the show. But it's been four years now on 'Made in Chelsea' and I'll always keep doing it."

EastEnders’ Rainie is ‘misunderstood’

EastEnders' Tanya Franks says Rainie Cross is "misunderstood".
The drug-addled prostitute recently made a shock return to Walford, blackmailing Ian Beale for money to keep quiet about his antics on the night of daughter Lucy Beale's death, but Tanya doesn't think her soap alter-ego is all bad and enjoys playing a challenging character.
She said: "I think she's just misunderstood. It's fascinating for me, she's such a challenge, she's such an extreme to what I am as a human being."
Unlike her character, who has battled alcoholism, Tanya isn't a big drinker so she's had to base her performance on observations in everyday life.
She told SoapSquawk.co.uk: "I have drunk in my life but I've never been a big drinker. I haven't drunk now for about seven years. A lot of the darker side of life that I play is through observation and research.
"When I first went into 'EastEnders' they had an ex-drug addict to help me go through a lot of the symptoms. It's stuff I had never experienced. I always learn something new from her."
Tanya - who first appeared on the BBC One soap in 2007 - hasn't ruled Rainie out in the murder of Lucy.
She added: "I guess it could be Rainie, somewhere down the line, but I don't know yet."

Foxes won’t watch her Doctor Who episode

Foxes won't watch her appearance on 'Doctor Who' back when it airs.
The 25-year-old singer/songwriter avoids watching her performances as she prefers to move on and focus on the next performance instead of picking out things she may have done wrong.
She exclusively told BANG Showbiz: "I won't watch 'Doctor Who'. Well, I will because I'm a superfan, but I won't watch my episode. I like to do it and let go of it and not dwell."
Foxes - whose real name is Louisa Rose Allen - landed a role on the BBC One sci-fi show after heading over to a 'Doctor Who' conference while she was performing at a show in Liverpool.
She said: "Behind me a 'Doctor Who' conference was going on. I sort of went back and got talking to these guys and I just said how much I loved it.
"They watched my show and little did I know, they were producers. A couple of weeks later, they asked me to do a song for the show."
The eighth series of 'Doctor Who' is set to air on August 23 on BBC One.
Foxes has been busy gearing up to the release of her new single 'Glorious', which is out on August 10, and working as a partner of vitaminwater's shinebright studio. For more information visit www.shinebrightstudio.co.uk

The Big Reunion bands to hide booze from Lee Ryan

'The Big Reunion' bands are planning to hide alcohol from Lee Ryan following his meltdown earlier this year.
5th Story, Damage, A1 and 3T are set to join forces with Blue, 911 and Five for The Big Reunion - The Boy Band Tour in October, but the groups are worried that too much boozing in front of the 31-year-old singer could send him off the rails again.
Adam Rickitt - who is a member of super-group 5th Story - told The Sun newspaper: "He's had an awful time but he's handled himself so well.
"I'll still have a drink but I'll be taking it to one side. We all drink so much when we're together."
Lee spent two weeks in a rehabilitation centre in April after he was arrested earlier that month for drink driving and being found in possession of a Class A drug.
The hunk found himself with a £3,325 fine and a two-year driving ban after he pleaded guilty to the charges.
The father-of-two blamed his erratic behaviour on the online abuse he received following his stint on Channel 5's 'Celebrity Big Brother' in January.
He said at the time: "I drank every day. A bottle of anything I could find, usually whiskey.
"I took antidepressants, but I didn't like them. They made me feel numb."
However, while Lee admits he's not teetotal, he doesn't touch whiskey any more and is now looking forward to touring with the other 'Big Reunion' bands in October.

Doctor Who premiere to screen in cinemas

'Doctor Who' is to screen in cinemas across the UK and Ireland next month.
Fans will have the chance to watch the first episode of the new series 'Deep Breath' - which sees the eagerly-anticipated arrival of Peter Capaldi as the new Doctor - on the big screen as it will be broadcast across the nation in select cinemas on August 23.
The episode will be screened at the same time it airs on BBC One following the theatrical success of last year's 50th anniversary special 'The Day of the Doctor', which was shown on the big screen in 1500 cinemas around the world.
Stephen Davies, BBC Worldwide's Director of Live Events, commented: "Following the tremendous success of the 50th anniversary screenings, this is another wonderful opportunities for fans to get together to celebrate another major milestone and enjoy the amazing opening episode of the Peter Capaldi era on the big screen."
The exciting series premiere will mark Peter's first episode as the Time Lord after taking over from Matt Smith in the 2013 Christmas special.
Jenna Coleman, who plays Clara Oswald, will continue to assist the Doctor.
Cinema tickets for 'Deep Breath' go on sale today (01.08.14). For participating locations and tickets visit www.doctorwho.tv/watch/cinema.
