Charlotte Crosby catches ex-boyfriend on a date on Geordie Shore return

Charlotte Crosby is set to interrupt her ex-boyfriend Gaz Beadle's date with new lover Marnie Simpson when she returns to 'Geordie Shore' tonight (05.08.14).
The loud-mouthed beauty creates an awkward atmosphere when she unexpectedly storms into the intimate candle-lit dinner on the MTV reality show and catches the loved-up pair toasting their new romance.
In tonight's episode, Marnie says: "Charlotte has just walked through the door; this is going to ruin everything.
Gaz adds: "Sh*t. I genuinely cannot believe I've just made a toast to me and Marnie and in walks Charlotte. F**k my life."
However, Marnie is left stunned when a drunk Charlotte approaches her on a night out and tells her she's glad her former flame has found someone he's happy with.
She tells the brunette beauty: "Marnie, I've had a boyfriend for over a year now. Don't you ever think that you getting with Gary would ever hurt me. It makes me happy just to think that finally he's met someone who he doesn't have to sh*g people in front of."
Marnie, who initially thought she was going to have a bust-up with Charlotte, is confused by the stunning star's polite behaviour
She says: "What the hell? Me and Charlotte are actually getting on. This is not what I expected tonight, but I am really happy about it."
'Geordie Shore' continues tonight on MTV at 10pm.

Brian Blessed turned down Doctor Who role

Brian Blessed has revealed he turned down the role of 'Doctor Who'.
The British actor was approached to take on the iconic role in the mid-60s when First Doctor William Hartnell was about to be replaced in the TARDIS.
However, he declined due to other work commitments meaning the BBC went on to cast Patrick Troughton as the Second Doctor.
In an interview with Radio Times magazine, Blessed revealed: "After I was in 'Z Cars', the head of BBC serials took me aside and said, 'We're thinking of having a young Doctor Who and we'd like to cast you'. But it clashed with other things."
When asked what his decision would be now if he was asked to star as the lead in the sci-fi series, he replied: "I'd jump at it!"
Blessed - beloved for his performance in cult sci-fi film 'Flash Gordon' - has some interesting ideas as to who should be cast as the Doctor when Peter Capaldi, who is about to debut in the role in a couple of weeks, decides to exit the TARDIS.
He said: "I think they need to re-examine his surname - 'Who' is very oriental. It's about time they had an Asian actor as the Doctor and a female one."
Blessed, now 77, did eventually appear in a 'Doctor Who' adventure in 1986 playing King Yrcanos in the story 'Mindwarp' - part of the series-long narrative 'The Trial of a Time Lord' - opposite Sixth Doctor Colin Baker.

TOWIE’s Grace Andrews rules out Fran Parman reconciliation

'The Only Way is Essex's Grace Andrews is adamant she'll never be friends with Fran Parman again.
The brunette beauty, 25, had a big bust-up with her fellow cast-mate in the last series of the reality TV show after she revealed Fran had cheated on her boyfriend James 'Diags' Bennewith at the beginning of their relationship, but Grace doesn't want to patch things up with her former pal because their friendship is dead.
Grace explained: "I think with the Fran situation, if she apologised to me I would obviously accept the apology and move on, but I just don't think I could... it's gone so far now I don't think I could be friends with her. I could be civil, so it's not just arguing, but as far as friendship is concerned I think it's gone too far for that."
Despite the arguments, Grace is glad she joined the ITV2 show, but she's still trying to work out who she can trust and who she needs to stay away from.
She explained: "I'm 100% happy, there's certain people on the show that you trust and there's certain people that you don't trust, but I'm happy on there, I think that I kind of dodged the bullet by getting away from that."
Grace enjoyed the refreshing great taste of Carlsberg Blackcurrant and Citrus at the Carlsberg Born to be Chilled BBQ at Luxe in Essex at the weekend.

Gemma Collins dating jailbird ex again?

Gemma Collins is reportedly getting back together with her jailbird ex-boyfriend Alex Moss.
The 'Only Way is Essex' star is keen to rekindle her romance with the "gangster" following his release from prison, where he was serving a five-and-a-half year sentence for conspiracy to supply cocaine, last week.
A source told the Daily Mirror newspaper: "Gemma is open-minded, and though she knows he's not the greatest guy, she believes people deserve second chances. She's very understanding. Hence why it was Gemma he turned to first when he was released.
"He worked with the Samaritans and completed courses while inside. Neither of them are the same people they were when they first met."
Two months ago, the pair were spotted smooching during a romantic stroll while Alex was on day release from prison, but a few weeks later their romance was over as Gemma claimed she was single again.
The source added: "Gemma has never really got over Alex, and it was clear when he came out on day release that it really isn't over between them."
The duo first started dating over a decade ago but the blonde beauty hinted that things weren't over between them in April when she described Alex in her autobiography 'Basically...: My Life as a Real Essex Girl' as "a bit of a gangster but with a big heart."
Meanwhile, Gemma got engaged to Rami Hawash last year, but they called-time on their short-lived romance a few weeks later in January.
She's also had an on/off relationship with her 'TOWIE' co-star James 'Arg' Argent over the past year.

June Whitfield employs a personal trainer

June Whitfield has employed a personal trainer to help her stay in shape.
The 88-year-old actress - who starred in 'Terry and June' and 'Absolutely Fabulous' alongside Dawn French and Jennifer Saunders - can already feel the health benefits of her new fitness regime after hiring a fitness coach three months ago.
She told the Radio Times magazine: "I took on a personal trainer two or three months ago just to keep moving. I don't walk about an awful lot because my feet hurt. He makes me run up and down the stairs, touch my toes, those sorts of things."
June admits she initially struggled to deal with the ageing process, but has now learnt to accept herself for what she is.
She explained: "The worst thing about age is not quite being able to do what you once did. The best thing is learning to accept what you've got and what you are and not worrying about whether you are liked."
Meanwhile, Jennifer Saunders recently revealed that June is to appear in a star-studded cast for the 'Absolutely Fabulous' movie, which is scheduled for release in cinemas across the globe next year.
The comedienne, 56, also confirmed she wants every guest star that's been in the show - including Kate Moss and Emma Bunton - to reprise their roles.

Spencer Matthews partied with Leonardo DiCaprio in New York

Spencer Matthews partied with Leonardo DiCaprio whilst filming the 'Made in Chelsea' spin-off show.
The 25-year-old lothario rubbed shoulders with Hollywood royalty after he managed to secure a table at an exclusive club in New York, only to find out the hunky star and Bradley Cooper had got there first.
Speaking to The Sun newspaper, he explained: "I got into this club called Tower Lounge and was fortunate that the owner is a friend and there was one table left and Mr DiCaprio and Bradley Cooper came in.
"We ended up having to share a table which they were very cool with, they were nice. They then offered us a lift to another club so we hopped in their car and went there and I had a really good night."
He jokingly added: "They were both a lot better looking than us. I didn't tell them about 'Made in Chelsea'!"
However, Leonardo and Bradley, 39, aren't the only A-list celebrities the reality stars have struck up a friendship with though as they've also mixed with leading actors on the East Coast too.
Spencer said: "We've met Gerard Butler here too, and Paul Rudd!"
Fellow co-star Oliver Proudlock even got to visit famed magician, David Blaine's house during the trip.
He recalled: "David has a pet alligator! That was wild."
Meanwhile, McVitie's heir Jamie Laing claims these crazy occurrences were common place whilst filming the show in the big apple.
He explained: "You get invited along with the crowd and end up in weird situations.
"We went to a house party and there were Emmy Awards everywhere. I have no idea whose house it was but it was amazing."
'Made in Chelsea: New York' is set to hit television screens on August 10 on E4.

Emmerdale’s Aaron Livesy returns to save Adam Barton

'Emmerdale's Aaron Livesy is set to return to the village to stop his friend Adam Barton "going off the rails."
The hunk - played by Danny Miller - is to storm back onto the dales after he fled two years ago to help his troubled pal (Adam Thomas) get his life back on track after he gets wrapped up in criminal activities with Ross Barton (Michael Parr) and Donna Windsor (Verity Rushworth).
Speaking to the Radio Times magazine, Danny said: "He [Aaron] gets various different calls - from Moira and from Chas - to say that Adam is going off the rails ... And once Aaron hears that Adam's in trouble, he comes back to try and sort him out."
Aaron was last seen running away to France with his now-ex boyfriend Ed Roberts (Lloyd Everitt) on the run from the police after he took the blame for a nasty fire, which Adam had started at the local garage.
However, he'll now have to deal with the police and face angry fellow residents, who blame him for the blaze, upon his return.
Danny explained: "People are still pointing the finger at Aaron. I think it's time for the truth to come out, but at what point, I don't know. Aaron's first got to answer questions about running away and skipping bail, which is obviously a serious offence. It'll be interesting to see how the police come down on him."
Meanwhile, Danny, 23 - who joined the soap in 2008 - has had to deal with a mixture of storylines during his time on the programme, including Aaron's sexuality, controversial assisted suicide plot, and self harming.

Simon Cowell misses auditions

Simon Cowell missed yesterday's (04.08.14) 'X Factor' auditions.
The 54-year-old music mogul missed the afternoon session at London's Wembley Arena with a migraine, prompting fellow judge Cheryl Fernandez-Versini - who he argued with several times during try-outs over the weekend - to joke she was pleased he was away as he had been giving her a headache throughout the auditions.
According to the Daily Star newspaper, she told the crowd: "A migraine? He's been giving us a migraine all week.
"At least it means less rudeness if he isn't here."
While Simon and Cheryl have been squabbling, they have also had some fun as the day before, the 'Crazy Stupid Love' singer and fellow judge Mel B did a lap dance for the head judge during a contestant's rendition of Marvin Gaye's 'Let's Get It On'.
Afterwards Simon said: "I think we both had a good time during that song."
It was revealed yesterday that auditions at the weekend had been blighted by squabbling between the judges, with Cheryl getting annoyed by Simon constantly interrupting her.
When she asked five guys what made them stand out from other boy bands, Simon objected: "That was a really ridiculous question. They're not a boyband!"
Cheryl protested: "I wasn't talking to you."
The pair continued to bicker, with the former Girls Aloud star eventually telling Simon to shut up and going on to shout: "If he doesn't stop whispering in my ear, I will... Grrrr."

Louis Smith hoping for positive Tumble portrayal

Louis Smith hopes 'Tumble' will show that gymnasts are fun characters.
The Olympian has signed up to be a judge on the BBC One programme and he is keen for the series to show that "gymnasts can have a laugh too".
The 25-year-old star told BANG Showbiz: "It's frustrating when you've got a different side to you and people always see you doing the same interviews and being asked the same questions, 'How do you feel about the Olympics?' How's training going?'
"You feel like you've been moulded into this respectable kind of person. This is an opportunity to show the other side of sportsmen. We can have a laugh and enjoy ourselves too."
Louis admits he will not be a soft touch when his is giving critiques to the performers, but he is going to make sure he gives them positive feedback too.
He said: "The fact that I'm still training and competing means I'm going to be honest and straight down the line.
"I'm not just going to be like, 'That was a disaster,' and leave it at that. I'll have to give the celebrities some positive feedback."
'Tumble', which is set to feature former Girls Aloud singer Sarah Harding and ex-'The Only Way is Essex' beauty Lucy Mecklenburgh among other celebrities, begins on Saturday, August 9 at 6.30pm on BBC One.
