James Argent: I want to lose three stone

James 'Arg' Argent wants to lose another three stone.
The 'Only Way is Essex' star - whose weight has fluctuated in the past - recently revealed he has shed two stone in a bid to win back former girlfriend Lydia Bright but admits he still isn't happy with his weight and would love to lose a bit more.
Speaking in a Cadillac at the VIP launch of the Direct Line Drive In, at north London's Brent Cross Shopping Centre on Tuesday night (05.08.14), he exclusively told BANG Showbiz: "I was the biggest I've ever been around Christmas time, I got myself in a bit of a rut. Since then I've knocked off a couple of stone but I'm not quite where I want to be, I've got a way to go.
"I want to lose at least another two or three and then I'll be happy. I want to carry on my boxing and stuff."
The 26-year-old star and the 23-year-old beauty - who split in 2012 - recently rekindled on the ITV2 reality show and admitted they have slept together during the recent series, but the crooner admits the pair are not quite boyfriend and girlfriend again just yet.
He added: "Things are going really, really, well. Me and Lydia had a great series last series and we've rekindled a nice friendship. We've been seeing each other and it's been really nice.
"We're not officially boyfriend and girlfriend but all I can say is we're enjoying each other's company so we'll have to see what happens.
Lydia and Arg dressed-up in costume as Sandy and Danny from the movie Grease to host the VIP launch of the Direct Line Drive In, at north London's Brent Cross Shopping Centre, on Tuesday.
The event celebrated the launch of Direct Line's DrivePlus telematics product, a new way of analysing how people drive with the potential to offer discounts based on driving behaviour.

Lauren Goodger rushed to hospital

Lauren Goodger was rushed to hospital last night (05.08.14).
The former 'The Only Way is Essex' star received urgent medical care in Dubai after she unexpectedly collapsed while holidaying in the popular city with pals.
Taking to her Twitter account after the scary incident, Lauren posted a picture of her arm strapped up to a drip along with the caption: "Well not how I wanted end my holiday want get home now (sic)."
The 25-year-old brunette beauty's health scare comes just two weeks after her sex tape with ex-boyfriend Jake McLean was leaked online and it is thought the stress of the scandal may have led to the collapse.
A spokesman for the star told The Sun newspaper: "Lauren has had a stressful couple of weeks and coupled with the 50 degree heat in Dubai she collapsed and was taken to hospital.
"She was put on a drip due to dehydration and is now resting back at her friend's."
However, Lauren seemingly proved she was on the mend this morning (06.08.14) after she sent 'TOWIE' cast member Ferne McCann a happy birthday message on Twitter.
She wrote: "Happy Birthday @fernemccann hope you have a lovely day lots love LG (sic)."

Robin Windsor quits Strictly Come Dancing

Robin Windsor has quit 'Strictly Come Dancing.'
The professional dancer - who has been part of the line-up since 2010 - is "devastated" after being forced to pull out of this year's show following a back injury.
He said: "It's been a really difficult decision but I plan to focus 100 per cent on my recovery and hope to be back in the ballroom as soon as possible, doing what I love best.
"In the mean time I wish the cast and crew best of luck with the new series which I'll be watching every week."
The 34-year-old hunk - who is dating former 'X Factor' finalist Marcus Collins - will be replaced by Australian dancer Trent Whiddon, who has appeared on 'Dancing With The Stars' in the US and Australia, when the popular BBC One show returns to screens this autumn.
Robin, who danced his way into the semi-final with former 'Emmerdale' star Lisa Riley in 2012, suffered a slipped disc on the show last year and was forced to miss some weeks of training, although he and his partner Deborah Meaden had already been eliminated for the competition by this point.
Meanwhile, Robin won't be the only professional missing from the line-up this year as Artem Chigvintsev and James Jordan have recently announced their exits.

Len Goodman to cut appearances on Dancing with the Stars

Len Goodman is cutting his appearances on US talent show 'Dancing with the Stars'.
The 70-year-old star judges both the American ballroom contest and the hit Saturday night BBC show 'Strictly Come Dancing' but he is going to reduce his Stateside workload because the travelling between the UK and US is wearing him out.
'DWTS' dancer Cheryl Burke - who is friends with Len - revealed: "I know that he is probably going to be missing a few shows next season because of the travelling back and forth."
Cheeky Cheryl claims she understands why Len would want to travel less - it's because he's so old.
Speaking to the Confideni@l column in the New York Daily News newspaper, she joked: "I get it. Especially when you are 120 years old, it just sucks."
Len has been a judge on 'DWTS' since it started in 2005 and has been scoring the celebrities on 'Strictly...' since it began on BBC One in 2004.
Meanwhile, the ballroom expert is to star in an upcoming series about the history of dance for BBC Four.
The programme will see Len don period dress as he talks viewers through dance through the centuries and it will air this autumn.

Lizzie Roper ‘devastated’ about Hollyoaks axe

Lizzie Roper was "absolutely devastated" when she learnt she was being axed from 'Hollyoaks'.
The blonde beauty - who played detective Sam Lomax in the Channel 4 soap - felt crushed when she was told her character was being killed off in a nasty car crash.
Speaking to SoapSquawk.com, she said: "I was absolutely devastated, I'd completely fallen in love with Liverpool, I was totally enamoured with 'Hollyoaks' and how organic it is. It was entirely shocking."
However, Lizzie admits she was glad bosses decided to kill her off along with her co-star Stephen Billington - who played her husband Danny Lomax - because it added even more shock to their heartbreaking exits.
When asked if it was nice to leave at the same time as Stephen, she said: "Yeah, absolutely. It's been great. What's been lovely is how shocked the cast and the directors were when they discovered we were going. A couple said, 'I don't understand it because you're the heart of the show'.
"But that's what big shows are about, they have to constantly be shocking and turning it on it's head."
Meanwhile, Lizzie - who joined 'Hollyoaks' last August - is now planning to return to comedy, but admits she'd like to try her hand at a role in rival shows 'Coronation Street' or 'Emmerdale' in the future.

Helen Wood fears ‘hateful’ Big Brother exit

Helen Wood fears everyone is going to "hate" her when she leaves the 'Big Brother' house.
The former escort - famous for participating in a threesome with England footballer Wayne Rooney in 2010 - is worried about leaving the Channel 5 compound because she thinks the public will dislike her even more.
Speaking on the reality show, the brunette, who was booed when she entered the house, said: "I knew what I was walking into, but I think more people hate me now. I don't know why I'm moaning, I cheated my way into this position anyway. So I can't moan.
"I'm going off how the public think and that's what I have to do."
Helen won a guaranteed spot in the 'Big Brother' final after being given a free pass by fellow housemate Pauline Bennett two months ago and she has caused controversy throughout her time in the series after several foul-mouthed rants.
After airing her concerns about the public's reaction to her, Helen's housemate Christopher Hall told her she has been the "most controversial character" in the series.
He added: "You'll have a lot of people who love you and a lot of people who won't like you at all."
A show insider told the Daily Star newspaper: "Love her or hate her, this series wouldn't have been the same without Helen."

Cheryl Fernandez-Versini booed at auditions

Cheryl Fernandez-Versini was "really shocked" to be booed at 'X Factor' auditions.
The 'Crazy Stupid Love' hitmaker stood in for Simon Cowell - who had a migraine - at the Wembley try-outs yesterday (05.08.14) and despite promising to have "more fun" without the music mogul, her harsh critiques quickly angered the audience.
A source told The Sun newspaper: "Cheryl wasn't prepared. She gave one contestant tough love and they burst into tears. The audience booed her and she was really shocked.
"She did her best to fill in for Simon, sitting in his seat and cutting songs short with his hand gestures."
Cheryl first angered the crowd after reducing one singer to tears by telling her she'd be better off in stand-up comedy, and was then booed again when she advised another act to be more like Justin Bieber.
To the first singer, a 26-year-old woman named Sammy, she said: "I think Simon was right, you could be your own five-piece band, but I think you should do stand-up or something like that.
"I just wouldn't know how to mentor you."
To which Sammy replied: "But I don't always have to be mental."
Cheryl retorted: "But every time we've met you, you are."
And to the second auditionee, she advised: "You need more stage presence, there's nothing there. If Justin Bieber came on to that stage... "
Her harsh remarks will have come as a shock as she pledged not to be "offensive" at the beginning of the session.
She said: "I'm going to be honest in a way that's not offensive."

Matt Richardson turned down ‘Xtra Factor’ return because of seriousness

Matt Richardson rejected a return to the 'Xtra Factor' because bosses wanted him to be more serious.
The 23-year-old comedian - who presented the 'X Factor' spin-off show last year with Caroline Flack - claims he turned down the opportunity because he wasn't ready to give up his comedic nature.
He exclusively told BANG Showbiz: "ITV wanted to change the show to be different this year and even quite early on in the year, I was asked if it was to become more serious, would I still be interested. I wasn't because everything that I do is comedy based.
"It was pretty much sort of them wanting to change it and me not really feeling like there was a place for me anymore."
Sarah-Jane Crawford will now take over the reigns of the ITV show later this year and Matt feels like she's perfectly suited to the role and it's her time to shine.
He explained: "I only met her once ... She's really nice, she's worked really hard - like she's been grafting for 10 years so I think she's due a break like 'Xtra Factor'.
"I don't have any ill feelings. I think she'll be really good and really different, which is what they wanted and I think it's really exciting when shows get new talent in to present. So I think good luck to her."
Matt will next be seen in the Virgin Media Louder Lounge and Virgin Media Our House at the forthcoming V Festival, http://www.vfestival.com, on August 16 and 17, where he will perform.

Danielle Armstrong: James isn’t a ‘typical romantic’

Danielle Armstrong has admitted her boyfriend James Lock isn't a "typical romantic."
The 'Only Way is Essex' beauty was blown away by her beau's sweet attempts to win her back after she discovered he'd cheated on her earlier this year, but she insists the hunk isn't usually one to show affection.
She said: "James as a boyfriend... he's not your typical romantic, he wouldn't come home with flowers and cook dinner. He's more spontaneous, so I'll mention that I'd like to go to a certain restaurant and he'll just book it without even telling me."
The blonde stunner believes, despite their turbulent romance in the past two series of the show, she and James have become a stronger couple.
She explained: "Obviously we've had our issues in the past, like with a lot of couples we have to go through a lot of drama from time to time but at the moment it's all going well so fingers crossed."
However, Danielle admits one place James' flirty nature is coming in handy is in her shop Dani in Essex because he's managing to charm her female customers into splurging on her gorgeous clothes.
She joked: "James is really good in the shop, especially at charming the ladies! A lot of girls come in and you can see them getting all giggly all round James and if he says, 'Yeah that looks nice,' I'm pretty certain they're going to buy it!"
Danielle Armstrong enjoyed the refreshing great taste of Carlsberg Blackcurrant and Citrus at the Carlsberg Born to be Chilled BBQ in Essex at the weekend.
