EastEnders’ Shabnam Masood to flee Walford?

EastEnders' Shabnam Masood is set to end her marriage to Kush Kazemi and threaten to flee to Pakistan next week.
The heartbroken pharmacy worker - who is portrayed by Rakhee Thakrar - will see her world crumble before her eyes when she tells her beloved husband (Davood Ghadami) she has no choice but to leave Albert Square because she can't watch him build a bond with his baby son Arthur following his one-night stand with her best friend Stacey Branning (Lacey Turner).
Rakhee explained: "This is a classic Shabnam reflex. She's been pushed to the edge and she can only jump or run. And she wants to get as far away from this mess as she can. She knows too well that you can only avoid your child's existence for so long.
"She loves Kush and when you truly love someone, you do what's right for them, even if they don't know it at the time. Shabnam needs to make something right in her life."
However, it's not that simple for Shabnam as she won't only be turning her back on her handsome spouse and her family, but she'll also be abandoning her daughter Jade again - something the little one doesn't take too kindly to.
She told the RadioTimes: "She aches for Jade, but it's complicated. She's happy if Jade's happy and, from what she can see, Jade is being looked after.
"But she's concerned about what's best for Jade - it's like a quiet constant voice in the background of her daily routine."
And Rakhee isn't quite ready to wave goodbye to her miserable alter-ego just yet as she wants Shabnam to find the strength to persevere with her marriage.
She added: "I really want her to have an endless supply of strength and perseverance to stay in Walford."

Coronation Street’s Callum Logan’s murder to unravel

'Coronation Street's Kylie and David Platt will be rocked with fear about their future as the secret about Callum Logan's brutal murder starts to unravel later this summer.
The couple - played by Paula Lane and Jack P. Shepherd respectively - will be left quivering in their boots when the death of the nail technician's ex-boyfriend (Sean Ward) comes back to haunt them and the nasty truth about his body being buried underneath the concrete ground in Gail McIntyre's (Helen Worth) granny annex begins to emerge.
Producer Stuart Blackburn teased: "That particular secret will come to light at the end of spring or in early summer."
However, although Kylie killed Callum when she hit him over the head following a heated row with David's sister Sarah-Louise (Tina O'Brien) last year, Stuart has hinted there will be a twist when it comes to discovering who the murderer is.
He told Insidesoap magazine: "The discovery may not directly impact the characters you think it will."
Meanwhile, this murder storyline has wreaked havoc for the scriptwriters as they've been forced to shuffle things around after Paula unexpectedly announced two weeks ago she and her husband Tom Shaw are expecting their second child.
The couple, who got married in 2014, already have 13-month-old son Arthur together.

Catherine Tate hints at Doctor Who return

Catherine Tate has hinted she could return to 'Doctor Who' and "hopes" there will be a female Time Lord one day.
The 47-year-old comedienne portrayed the Doctor's companion Donna Noble from 2006 to 2008 alongside David Tennant, who played the Tenth Doctor, and she admitted the sci-fi show's bosses are experts in finding ways of bringing back characters fans aren't expecting.
When 'Lorraine' host Lorraine Kelly said she could come back as Donna's great-great grandmother or her great-great granddaughter, referring to the show's time travelling element, Catherine replied: "Yes, it doesn't matter.
"They do tend to find really clever ways of bringing people back where you think, 'There's no way.' "
However, Catherine admitted she isn't expecting to reprise her role as Donna after her character departed at the end of series four when she effectively saved the universe at a huge cost after having her memory wiped.
She said: "With my character I don't think she could because of the nature of how she left ... she sort of can't come back."
Meanwhile, there has been months of speculation that the Time Lord role could be taken on by a woman one day, and Catherine would love to see a female play the part.
She said: "I hope there is ... I'm sure there will be a female Doctor one day."
While Catherine may not play Donna on screen again, she has thoroughly enjoyed recording some 'Doctor Who' audiobooks.
She said: "We've recorded some audio plays ... I that is the right word because they're not books they're plays. That was lovely. Lovely."
Changes are afoot on 'Doctor Who' in 2017 with current executive producer Steven Moffat set to leave.
Peter Capaldi is also rumoured to be departing his role as the current Time Lord in 2017 to give new showrunner Chris Chibnall a "fresh start."

Paloma Faith’s row with Boy George

Paloma Faith ran off stage after a row with Boy George on 'The Voice'.
The 'Only Love Can Hurt Like This' hitmaker was left visibly upset after she clashed with her fellow judge on the BBC One show as they both tried to recruit former Liberty X singer Kevin Simm to their team.
Boy George said: "There are a lot of big voices in the show. You sit and you think no one can be better than that, then suddenly someone sings.
"It's just constant surprise. One thing that I do know is that I understand singers. That's my forte."
When Paloma pretended to fall asleep, he hit back: "Excuse me, Palaver."
To which she retorted: "Is it finished, is it time for us to wake up?"
But Boy George clearly took a distaste to the comments, telling her she was "extremely rude".
He said: "That's extremely rude. Very rude. Anyway, you're amazing Kevin."
As the battle between the judges continued, the 'Karma Chameleon' hitmaker hit below the belt, telling the 34-year-old singer she had not had any success in the United States.
In scenes to be aired this weekend, the comment visibly upset Paloma as she ran off stage and away from the cameras.

James ‘Arg’ Argent piles on the pounds

James 'Arg' Argent piled on the weight straight after he finished competing on the new diet show 'Sugar Free Farm'.
The 'Only Way is Essex' star managed to drop three stone with the help of the new programme, which sees celebrities give up sugar and slave away on a farm for hours on end, but he didn't manage to completely beat the bulge and let the pounds creep back on almost immediately.
Speaking exclusively to BANG Showbiz, Arg's girlfriend Lydia Bright said: "He lost a lot of weight from that but he didn't completely keep that off. Arg will always be a yo-yo dieter but stabilising his weight isn't his forte."
However, the blonde beauty is thrilled her larger-than-life beau had a crack at the show and she is adamant she'll always fancy him regardless of his shape or size.
She said: "I'm glad he tried it and I love him no matter what."
Meanwhile, although 'Sugar Free Farm' didn't quite manage to get him fit and healthy, Lydia is hoping his forthcoming stint on the winter sports show 'The Jump' will improve his fitness.
She explained: "Hopefully 'The Jump' will get him fit and healthy. I'm super proud of him, a complete turnaround and I'm just so happy for him. He's so busy this year."

Lauren Pope wants to Lip Sync Battle

Lauren Pope wants to compete on 'Lip Sync Battle'.
The former 'The Only Way is Essex' star is desperate to secure a gig on the new miming show and has already recruited 'Geordie Shore's Chloe Perry as her challenger.
Speaking exclusively to BANG Showbiz, she said: "I would never do singing. I wouldn't put people through that, I'm awful at singing. I would lip sync but I couldn't get up on stage and sing. I would love to go on 'Lip Sync Battle'.
"I'd go against Chloe Perry. I would probably do some kind of hip-hop or R&B. She can be Drake and I'll be Jay Z."
And 'Lip Sync Battle' isn't the only thing the 33-year-old beauty wants to try her hand at as Lauren, who had a small part as a "beautiful girl" in 'Rise of the Footsoldier' in 2007, would also like to land a role in a horror movie in the future.
She said: "I don't think I'm very good acting. I'd love to do a horror film, where they run away from the murderer."
However, for now, Lauren has her hands tied up with her hair extensions line Hair Rehab London and has just announced Chloe as the face of the spring/summer Synthetic Range.
She explained: "I'm a massive 'Geordie Shore' fan anyway and I've always made that known and Chloe stuck out from the beginning. She's funny but she doesn't know she's funny. She's got an amazing look about her; I just think she looks like Kylie Jenner as well, which is such a current look."

Christopher Maloney voted off CBB

Christopher Maloney has been evicted from 'Celebrity Big Brother'.
The former 'X Factor' contestant is the latest star to be voted off the reality TV show following in the footsteps of Megan McKenna, Kristina Rihanoff, Nancy Dell'Olio and Winston McKenzie.
However, he is the eighth contestant to leave the house after Jonathan Cheban quit and Angie Bowie and David Gest left due to illness.
Christopher was greeted with cheers from the crowd and told host Emma Willis: "That was a whirlwind, it was crazy."
When asked why he thought he was voted out, he said: "I'm not sure, I don't know what the public have seen... I am so glad to be out of there."
Admitting he was originally nervous about entering the house when he realised his former friend Danniella Westbrook was also a contestant, he said: "I was s***ting myself and then she said 'we'll have a word'. I'm glad we sorted it out. It was other people stirring s**t.
"We are both there for each other, the highs and lows, the ups and downs.
"She's going through an emotional rollercoaster; she's getting a little bit upset. I've been there for her. She is a great girl. Good luck to her."

Phillip Schofield would quit This Morning if Holly was to leave

Phillip Schofield and Holly Willoughby would quit 'This Morning' if the other wanted to call it a day.
The presenting duo enjoy their on-screen partnership so much, they can't imagine the thought of fronting the show with anyone else.
Phillip - who was joined by Amanda Holden and Christine Bleakley when Holly was on maternity leave last year - said "We know each other really well. I'd go so far as to say that if Holly said, 'I don't want to do it any more', then I would follow. I don't think I would do it with anybody else full-time."
Holly added to OK! magazine: "I couldn't agree more."
The pair are known for frequently bursting into giggles during the show and Holly, 34, blames it on her 53-year-old co-host's "dirty mind".
She said: "I can say the smallest thing but this one has got the dirtiest mind and I just hear that laughter next to me and that's it, it sets me off every time."
While Holly and Phillip adore presenting 'This Morning', they have yet to land their ultimate guest.
Phillip said: "I want Dame Judi Dench! I keep asking and she keeps refusing. She is incredibly polite. I don't think she likes live TV, but we'd be really gentle with her."

Jacqueline Jossa wants another baby

Jacqueline Jossa and Dan Osborne want another baby.
The loved-up couple, who already have 11-month-old daughter Ella together, are keen to add a little son to their family once they become husband and wife later this summer.
The blonde beauty explained: "We'll wait a bit, but it won't be too long after the wedding before we start trying again.
"I can't wait to have another baby with Dan - I really want a boy. If we have another girl next I'll keep trying!"
However, for now, the pair, who began dating at the end of 2013, have their hands tied up with planning their nuptials and Jacqueline has already found the perfect dress.
She told OK! magazine: I want all eyes on me on my big day - I'm dramatic like that!"
But, before they exchange vows, the 'EastEnders' star - who is known for playing feisty Lauren Branning in the BBC One soap - is looking forward to celebrating her hen do in Dubai with her girlfriends, while Dan will party in Las Vegas.
Jacqueline joked: "I've told Daniel's friends that they should tie him naked to a lamppost. As long as they send me a picture so I can laugh at it, I don't mind!"
Meanwhile, the couple have remained tight-lipped on the finer details of their big day but their little daughter Ella and Dan's two-year-old son Teddy - who he shares with his ex-girlfriend Megan Tomlin - will no doubt have a part in the wedding.
