Vicky Pattison lands acting gig

Vicky Pattison has landed her first acting gig.
The former 'Geordie Shore' star, who shot to fame guzzling booze and partying up a storm in Newcastle, is set to kick off her acting career after she was dished out the role of a policewoman in the detective sitcom 'Murder in Successville'.
A source explained: "Vicky wants to be an actress; it's all she's ever wanted. She's chuffed she's won a role in 'Murder in Successville'. It's tongue-in-cheek, but you have to have a certain amount of talent to get picked for that series and she jumped at the chance. Going for 'Geordie Shore' was always a means to an end, she realised it wasn't going to come easy and she needed to get noticed."
And, although she's yet to shoot the BBC Three series, the 28-year-old beauty already has her sights set on Hollywood and is keen to land a role in the US comedy 'Drunk History'.
The insider added to the Daily Mirror newspaper: "Vicky is pulling out all the stops to become a serious acting professional and ultimately wants a Hollywood career."
However, Vicky, who won over the hearts of the nation last year when she was crowned queen of the 'I'm A Celebrity... Get Me Out of Here! jungle', is concerned her Geordie accent will prevent her from cracking America.
She said recently: "I don't think they'd understand my accent."

Sam Reece ‘cheated’ on Stephanie Davis on holiday

Sam Reece allegedly cheated on Stephanie Davis during a holiday she paid for.
The 22-year-old actress has been slammed with criticism for striking up a romance with Jeremy McConnell in the 'Celebrity Big Brother' house while dating the model, but it seems their romance was on the rocks before she even entered the abode last month.
Christopher Maloney, who was in the house with Stephanie until he was evicted two weeks ago, said: "Since I got out people have been giving her a bad time and I think it's unfair. Her granddad has only just recently passed away, and there's certain things she's told me about Sam.
"She took him on holiday, she paid for him - he doesn't pay for anything. They went away and apparently he cheated on her while they were away. She read one of his text messages. She was really upset, but she forgave him. She told him if there was one more thing, they would be finished."
And, although many people believe Stephanie will go running back to Sam once she leaves the house, Christopher is adamant Stephanie will stay with Jeremy.
He told OK! magazine: "[Jeremy] loves her very much. I think they will start a relationship when she gets out."
The Irish hunk, 25, and the axed 'Hollyoaks' star hit the headlines last month when they became entangled in a love triangle after they shared a passionate smooch in bed.
After two weeks of outrageous flirting and cheeky bedroom antics, Stephanie appeared to dump Sam, whom she has been dating for over a year, on national television.
But she was left heartbroken just days later when she was torn away from Jeremy after he was evicted from the house following three weeks inside.

Introducing Cadbury’s new Milk Tray man

Cadbury has found its new Milk Tray Man.
Patrick McBride, a 39-year-old firefighter from Liverpool, will front the chocolate maker's new famed advert campaign after he battled it out with over 20,000 hopefuls across the UK during a mass nationwide search.
Speaking about his win, Patrick - who was nominated for the role by his wife - said: "When my wife nominated me for this role I never thought I'd actually get it ... At the castings I had to talk about myself and what I do in the fire service. I put my full fire kit on and asked if anyone minded a fireman's lift, and presented a box of Milk Tray... I'm honoured to have been chosen to take on this iconic role."
Over the next year, the hunk - who has taken over the role from James Coombes - will make women swoon as he pulls on his black rollneck jumper and embarks on a mission to show the nation what "real thoughtfulness" is.
He explained: " I think it will sink in when the billboards are up and the ads are on TV. I think she'll be pleased she's married to the Milk Tray Man."
The advert first hit screens 35 years ago, with the slogan, "All because the lady loves Milk Tray", and saw the famous hero fight with sharks, jump off a cliff and play with death just to deliver a box of sweet treats to a beautiful female.

Jessica Wright will never be the same again after Nanny Pat’s death

Jessica Wright doesn't think her family will ever "be the same" again following the tragic death of her Nanny Pat.
The 'Only Way is Essex' star was left heartbroken in December when her beloved grandmother, who also starred on the show, passed away following a short illness, and she doesn't think her relatives will ever get over their pain.
She explained: "I'm just glad that she's at peace now and not in any pain. It's just one of those things that you have to get on with every day and hopefully it gets easier every day. It'll never be the same in our family I don't think."
And the brunette beauty is still struggling to come to terms with the fact Nanny Pat is no longer around because she keeps finding items of her clothing at her home in Essex.
She told the Daily Mail newspaper: "It's a really strange feeling. I've never dealt with grief like this before. It's one of those things where I don't think I'll ever feel the same again. It's so weird without her being there, even just when I go to make everyone a tea because she loved her tea. It's really, really hard to deal with. I keep finding her clothes that she had at our house because she stayed at our house a lot and they smell of her, and that's horrible for us."
Nanny Pat - whose real name is Pat Brooker - passed away on December 16, 2015, a month after her 80th birthday.
She left behind five children, including her daughter Carol Wright - the mother of Jessica and TV presenter Mark Wright.

Gemma Collins to sign 1m reality show deal

Gemma Collins is set to sign a £1 million reality show deal.
The former 'TOWIE' star reportedly impressed Channel 5 bosses so much during her stint on 'Celebrity Big Brother' that they are set to offer her the huge sum to star in her own show.
A source said: "Execs reckon Gemma is the standout star of this series of 'CBB'.
"Everyone has an opinion on her. She isn't the most popular but she's the most entertaining.
"Gemma's years on 'TOWIE' mean she knows how to play up to the camera and make great TV."
Celebrity agent Barry Tomes told the Daily Star: "Gemma is likely to make a lot of money, definitely. She could easily get £1million by the end of the year.
"She has played the game very well. She knows notoriety pays off. If she hits the ground running she'll do well.
"There's a big market for British reality stars in America and Canada so Gemma could even go global."
Gemma befriended Kim Kardashian West's best pal Jonathan Cheban on the show and revealed she plans to visit him and Kim in Los Angeles.
She said: "You know what, I love Jonathan whether he's friends with the Kardashians or not.
"He has invited me over there for a month and he has invited me to meet the Kardashians, so yeah I'm very much looking forward to that trip - bring it on baby.
"He said to me, 'ditch the pink, ditch the glitter but the Kardashians will love you either way', so it's all good.
"I'll be out in LA before you know it."

James Bye to sit in birthing pool when wife delivers child

EastEnders' James Bye wants to sit in the birthing pool when his wife delivers their second child.
The 31-year-old actor is set to become a father again later this month and, although most men can't stand the sight of blood, he's looking forward to splashing around in the water when his spouse Victoria gives birth to their new little one.
He said: "I'm planning to get into the pool. I've got my trunks ready to go! My mum's a midwife and said, 'Are you sure you want to get in, James?' It won't just be the baby in the water. There will be other things floating about.' People say it freaks them out to see women give birth but it's completely natural."
The handsome star - who plays Martin Fowler in the BBC One soap - is currently tangled up in a heartbreaking postpartum storyline on the popular show and he has admitted working with a newborn on set has made him "excited" for the arrival of his own little bundle of joy.
He said: "Working with a newborn baby on the 'EastEnders' set has got me excited for our own baby's arrival, too."
Meanwhile, James - who already has two-year-old son Edward with Victoria - is hoping to have more children in the years to come as he wants a "football team" for a family.
He told OK! magazine with a giggle: "We'll keep going until we get a whole football team."

Vicky Pattison to retire to Australia?

Vicky Pattison wants to retire to Australia when she's 35.
The former 'Geordie Shore' star may only be 28 years old but she has already decided she will pack in her jobs in seven years' time and relocate Down Under to live a life of luxury.
She explained: "I've always wanted to live in Australia. 'Geordie Shore' was huge over there, so I've already got my foot in the door. It's something I'll definitely thinking about doing when I'm older. I'll retire there when I'm 35!"
And the brunette beauty believes she may have to wait until she heads out into the sun before she'll be able to find herself a "knight in shining armour" because her globe-trotting career has prevented her from being able to find true love.
She told Star magazine: "I'd be lying if I said I didn't want to find someone. I'd love a knight in shining armour to walk in right now, whisk me off my feet and tell me everything was going to be OK. I'm a normal girl, but with this career, I can't make time for someone in my life just yet.
"It's hard because I've met some fantastic lads recently that girls would be falling over themselves to marry."

James Norton slammed with psychotic sex messages

James Norton was slammed with disturbing sex messages from female fans when he played the rapist in 'Happy Valley'.
The 30-year-old actor has admitted he was deeply concerned when he received countless comments from ladies on Twitter when he was portraying psychopath convict Tommy Lee Royce, who abducts and ties up women, in the drama in 2014 asking him to proactively drag them into his "cellar."
Speaking to Radio Times magazine, he said: "People create their own fantasies around figures like Tommy. I read some case studies and it's very common, this instinct to save these broken souls ... The reason we love 'Happy Valley' is that we are obsessed by the extreme edges of life."
Meanwhile, the hunky actor, who has also made a name for himself playing Prince Andrei Bolkonsky in 'War and Peace', will reprise his role as the convicted drug dealer in series two this month as police sergeant Catherine Cawood (Sarah Lancashire) continues her obsession with the criminal.
The new series, which is one of the most anticipated of the year, will hit screens next week as former 'Coronation Street' stars Julie Hesmondhalgh and Katherine Kelly join the cast.
'Happy Valley' will return to screens on February 9.

Stephanie Davis and Jeremy McConnell to get own spin-off show?

Stephanie Davis and Jeremy McConnell are being lined up for their own spin-off show based on their love affair.
Channel 5 bosses are reportedly keen to document the 'Celebrity Big Brother' stars' controversial romance on the outside world and believe setting them up with their own programme would be a "ratings hit" considering the uproar their antics caused in the infamous house last month.
A source explained: "Viewers have been gripped by Stephanie and Jeremy's love story in the house, and will be dying to see how things progress when they're out. Channel 5 bosses think a spin-off, fly-on-the-wall show would make excellent viewing and prove to be a hit."
And producers are even keen to get Stephanie's heartbroken boyfriend Sam Reece, who had to watch his girlfriend flirting up a storm with the model on national television, involved in some of the explosive scenes.
The source told MailOnline: "It remains to be seen what Sam Reece makes of it all, but there's no doubt his reaction to Stephanie's new romance will be interesting."
The Irish hunk, 25, and the axed 'Hollyoaks' actress hit the headlines last month when they became entangled in a love triangle after they shared a passionate smooch.
After two weeks of outrageous flirting and cheeky bedroom antics, Stephanie appeared to dump Sam, whom she has been dating for over a year, on national television.
She said last week: "Obviously Sam's not right for me and I need to sort it when I get out."
Meanwhile, the brunette beauty, 22, was left heartbroken last weekend when Jeremy was evicted from the house.
Despite spending three days apart, so far, the pair seem very much "in love" and are determined to give their relationship a proper go once Stephanie leaves the house.
