EastEnders’ June Brown to retire next year?

June Brown may retire from 'EastEnders' next year.
The legendary actress, 88, has played the role of chain-smoker Dot Branning in the soap since 1985 and, although she's just signed a £300,000 contract which ties her to the show until next March, she's hinted she may turn her back on Walford when her contract expires in 13 months' time.
She explained: "I don't know how long I'll stay. I don't think I want to end my life on a soap, but we'll see.
"I don't want to be 100, or even 90. I don't think I look nearly 90, but because I can't see these days I don't know. You don't think about your age, you just knock it down."
However, although June is keen to bow out before she's written out, the talented star doesn't like to make future plans because they have a tendency to go "wrong."
She said: "I've been in the soap for 30 years but you never know what's going to happen, and you really don't want to make plans about how long you should stay because they could all go wrong."
Meanwhile, June is grateful bosses have decided to keep her in storylines but she wishes she had more screen time.
She told The Sun newspaper: "I'm very fortunate they still want me because you hear of older actresses who say there is no work, because people like to see beautiful young faces ...
"I would like to be in the show more than I am because a job gives me structure to my life and days. It also keeps my brain alive and cheerful."

Stephanie Davis to pen ‘explosive’ autobiography

Stephanie Davis is set to pen an "explosive" autobiography.
The 22-year-old actress may busy causing mischief in the 'Celebrity Big Brother' house but she's also stirring trouble in the outside world as she's struck up a "bidding war" between book publishers fighting to snap up rights to her tell-all story.
A source exclusively told BANG Showbiz: "Stephanie has a lot to say and a lot has gone on in her 22 years of life so far. Aside from 'CBB' there are lots of other parts that have remained secret until now. The book will be explosive."
Unbeknownst her, Stephanie has had a number of big money offers for "her story" and will be forced to consider her options when she leaves the house tomorrow night (05.02.16).
Although the brunette beauty is yet to agree to the deal, it's believed she'll document her journey as a child star, her time on the talent-search show 'Over the Rainbow' and the five years she spent playing Sinead O'Connor in 'Hollyoaks'.
She'll also spill the beans on her departure from the Channel 4 soap and address the rumours claiming she was sacked last year after she allegedly turned up to set drunk.
Not only that, Stephanie will open up about her time in the 'CBB' house, the controversy surrounding her on-screen romance with fellow housemate Jeremy McConnell, her diva tantrums, her relationship with Sam Reece and some "secrets" she has kept closely guarded to her chest until now.

Gemma Collins breaks down as she reveals she’s dumped jailbird boyfriend

Gemma Collins has dumped her jailbird boyfriend.
The former 'The Only Way is Essex' star, who has spent the past three weeks in the 'Celebrity Big Brother' house, broke down in tears today (04.02.16) as she sat on the 'Loose Women' panel and attempted to reveal details about her relationship with her beau-of-three months Stephen Mortimer.
Asked about her love life on the lunchtime show, the bubbly blonde said: "I don't want to talk about that. I came out the house... god this is so embarrassing."
As tears rolled down her face, the reality TV star added: "Obviously a situation has happened and I'm just not ready to talk about it right now. I think people forget I'm just a normal girl and I do have problems with my love life. Forget him."
Gemma was left devastated on Monday night (01.02.16) when she left the infamous abode to discover her lover had been banged up for 28 days after breaching his licence.
But that's not the only discovery Gemma made upon her departure as she also came face-to-face with allegations Stephen - who spent two years in prison for grievous bodily harm (GBH) - had cheated on her with a young mother-of-one.
Rebecca Smith, 21, alleged: "He is desperate to be famous and is only using Gemma for her celebrity status. I was devastated to find out that he was two-timing us. I feel used."
The news no doubt hit Gemma hard as she admitted shortly after she was evicted that she couldn't wait to see her "fella."

Steven Tyler’s high-pitched vocals smashes This Morning camera

Steven Tyler's singing smashed a camera on 'This Morning'.
Holly Willoughby and Phillip Schofield were left open-mouthed when the Areosmith frontman caused the glass on an auto-cue camera to shatter when his high-pitched Skittles Super Bowl advert, which sees the rocker's face made out of sweets, was played on the show earlier today (04.02.16).
A stunned Holly put her hand over her mouth as she shared: "Oh my god! You'll never believe what just happened!"
Phillip leaped from his seat and picked the glass up as he showed the audience and said: "That note has just smashed the front of our camera! At exactly the same time! I have never seen that ever in a TV studio before!"
Holly then asked her co-host if he'd ever seen anything like that happen before in his television career, to which he replied: "I've never seen that happen before. Unbelievable!"
The handsome silver fox, 53, later took to his Twitter account to inform Steven about the accident, writing: "Look what you did to our studio @IamStevenT !!! (sic)."
Meanwhile, Steven's Skittles advert, which was made for the annual championship game of the National Football League, sees the 67-year-old rocker challenge his doppelganger to hit the high notes in Aerosmith's smash hit 'Dream On'.

Matt LeBlanc to co-host Top Gear

Matt LeBlanc is set to co-host the new 'Top Gear'.
The former 'Friends' star, who is known for playing buffoon Joey Tribbiani in the US sitcom, will join Chris Evans as they present the forthcoming revamped show later this year.
Speaking of his new gig, Matt said: "As a car nut and a massive fan of 'Top Gear', I'm honoured and excited to be a part of this iconic show's new chapter. What a thrill!"
The 48-year-old actor's signing is the first time a non-British host has fronted the motoring show in its 39-year history.
However, Matt is no stranger to the programme as he's slipped behind the wheel for the purpose of the show twice before and even holds the record to date for the fastest celebrity to whiz around the track in its reasonably priced car.
His co-host Chris said of his new colleague: "Matt's a lifelong fellow petrol head and I'm thrilled he's joining 'Top Gear'. Acting out our craziest car notions on screen is a dream job and I know we'll both be debating some epic road trip ideas. We can't wait to share what we've been up to later this year."
Meanwhile, the announcement comes just weeks after Chris, 49 - who was pulled in as the replacement for the old presenting line-up Jeremy Clarkson, Richard Hammond and James May - teased some "big stars" would grace the track.
He said: "Hopefully we're going to have more stars, bigger stars. We want to work with Los Angeles because we know 'Top Gear' is vicariously the biggest chat show in the world."
'Top Gear' is set to return to screens on May 8.

Kimberley Walsh wins The Great Sport Relief Bake Off

Kimberley Walsh was crowned Star Baker in the second heat of 'The Great Sport Relief Bake Off' last night (03.02.16).
The former Girls Aloud singer beat Labour MP Ed Balls, TV presenter Victoria Coren and football pundit Chris Kamara to the prestigious title as she mastered a batch of delicious muffins, a meaty crusty pie and a chunky three-tier sponge in the charity celebrity cooking competition.
She said of her win: "I'm so happy to be Star Baker. I'm such a big fan of the show, so to actually win, it's a good feeling."
The brunette beauty, 34, took the lead in the competition when she wowed judges Mary Berry and Paul Hollywood with her strawberry cheesecake muffins but slipped behind in the next round when she had to create a football-inspired pie.
However, it was Kimberley's lemon and blueberry Mount Kilimanjaro yogurt cake that sealed the deal as Mary and Paul were blown away by her attention to detail.
In fact, Paul was so impressed by the cake, which featured edible animals and saw little people trekking up the mountain, that he told Kimberley she should sign up for the full series of the 'Bake Off' when it returns to screens later this year.
He said: "There's signs there of a great baker, I'd even say, go and get the application form for this year's 'Bake Off'."
Meanwhile, next week will see a new batch of celebrities attempt to dazzle the judges with their masterpieces as they whip out their aprons and head into the famous bakery tent.

Nancy Dell’Olio, 54, is ‘dating’ Ex on the Beach’s Jordan Davis, 23

Nancy Dell'Olio is reportedly dating 'Ex on the Beach's Jordan Davies - despite him being 31 years her junior.
The 'Celebrity Big Brother' star, 53, has sparked rumours she's romancing the 23-year-old hunk after they were spotted on an intimate date at the flash wine and cocktail bar 68 And Boston in London's Soho on Tuesday evening (02.02.16).
A source explained to The Sun newspaper: "He travelled all the way from Cardiff for their date. Nancy was very flirty."
And it seems the unlikely pair got on like a house on fire on their date as they have reportedly agreed to meet up again.
However, news the pair are dating will unlikely go down well with Jordan's ex-girlfriend Megan McKenna, who locked horns with Nancy when they were both thrown in the 'Celebrity Big Brother' house for two heated weeks last month.
And Megan's not the only one who will be stunned to learn of Jordan's new relationship, as his co-star Ashleigh Defty shared a passionate smooch with the ladies' man last month.
Meanwhile, Jordan might not be the only one on the scene for Nancy as she recently admitted she's been on a few dates with different men since she left the infamous abode.
The brunette beauty hit the headlines over a decade ago when her husband Sven-Goran Eriksson - the former manager of the English football team - cheated on her with Ulrika Jonsson and FA secretary Faria Alam.

Megan McKenna is to re-enter CBB house for ‘awkward’ task

Megan McKenna will re-enter the 'Celebrity Big Brother' house tonight (04.02.16) to confront Scotty T about his flirty antics with Tiffany Pollard following her exit last month.
The 'Ex on the Beach' star was booted out of the infamous abode two weeks ago but is set to make an explosive return in tonight's episode for a press conference-themed task.
The brunette beauty, who struck up a romance Scotty T over the 14 days she was in the house, will make for some awkward viewing as she interrogates the hunk about "flashing his willy" to the American beauty and questions whether he used her to create a "showmance" for airtime.
Speaking to Scotty, she said: "The press have been saying, while I've been out, that you were having a showmance with me. What's your opinion on that? Was it all fake?"
The 'Geordie Shore' star was quick to defend himself and hit back: "I never expected to have that connection with you when I came in. I came in and we got closer and closer and obviously kissed and stuff, and for me that was like, 'Oh, God.' "
But Megan can't understand why Scotty - whose real name is Scott Timlin - has been busy showing his bits to Tiffany.
She asked: "Are you attracted to Tiff? I mean, I have been watching everything."
The handsome lothario immediately poured cold water on speculation he's got a soft spot for the 'Flavor of Love' star.
He replied: "Number one, we've had flirty banter but it was nothing like with me and you."
Clearly satisfied with Scotty's justification, Megan concluded: "I've seen what you've said in the Diary Room about me, it's nice."

Love Island is set to return

'Love Island' is set to return screens this summer.
The most-loved reality dating show is scheduled to bounce back onto the scene with series two later this year as bosses have already kicked off the "initial casting" stage.
A source told the RadioTimes.com: "Initial casting is already underway."
The show, which sees 12 contestants set up as couples in a villa on the island of Mallorca for six weeks, is "expected" to be hosted by Caroline Flack again who, in season one, supplied witty commentary and proved popular with viewers.
Viewers will certainly be gripped to the edge of their seats as the chosen couples are put through their paces when they compete in games, go on steamy dates and have to adapt as new arrivals are jetted in to the island to stir things up.
The different challenges aim to break up relationships and cause arguments among the group, with the strongest couple being crowned the winner at the end of the series.
'Love Island' first hit screens as a celebrity dating programme from 2005 and ran for a year until it was dropped and revamped last year featuring normal unknown contestants.
The remodelled show pulled in a staggering 800,000 so it's no wonder bosses are keen to make a second series.
