Eamonn Holmes is back on his feet after hip surgery.
The 56-year-old TV presenter underwent a double hip operation last week after battling with excruciating pain for many years but took to Twitter on Sunday (08.02.16) to post a picture and assure fans that he was on the road to recover.
Eamonn's picture shows him with a forlorn expression on his face while standing with the aid of two crutches.
He wrote: "On my feet ....sort of. I can only put the expression down to a mixture of drugs , pain and that late Chelsea goal (sic)."
He was referring to Chelsea's injury-time equaliser against his beloved Manchester United in Sunday's Premier League clash at Stamford Bridge.
Eamonn previously revealed he was urged to have hip replacement surgery over 25 years ago.
He explained: "I should've had this [the surgery] done at least 15 years ago. I was advised it needed doing or I'd be literally crippled in agony. In fact I was offered the operation 25 years ago but I turned it down and I kept turning it down year after year. But it's time now.
"I can't go on any longer. I'm in pain, my mobility is affected and I really just need to buckle down and get on with it."

'Ex on the Beach's Joss Mooney wants to do the next series of 'Celebrity Big Brother'.
The 27-year-old hunk is desperate to sign up to the summer version of the show but doesn't think he'd get caught up in any mischief as he's quite "chilled out" and "easy going."
Speaking exclusively to BANG Showbiz, he said: "Yeah I'd do 'Celebrity Big Brother'. I am quite chilled out. When I was younger I got sent to boarding school. Put me in an area with people I don't know, it doesn't fluster me at all.
"I am quite easy going. Everyone has buttons that you can push. But I won't get home sick or anything like that."
And it's not just 'CBB' the handsome reality TV star wants to try his hand at as he'd also like to follow in the footsteps of his on/off girlfriend Vicky Pattison and storm to victory in the 'I'm A Celebrity... Get Me Out of Here!' jungle later this year.
He explained: "I'd like to do it. I'd love to go into the jungle.
Everyone got to see a different side to Vicky when she did it. She's such a lovely girl. On 'Geordie Shore' she was drunk half the time. It's not a good environment to be in. It just showed the best side of her really and she did really well."
Joss will join The Dreamboys on their 2016 tour. To book tickets visit: www.dreamboystour.co.uk

Ollie Locke would consider signing up to 'I'm A Celebrity... Get Me Out of Here!' in "several years' time."
The 'Made in Chelsea' hunk, who flew out to the Australian jungle last year to take part in the spin-off panel show, doesn't feel ready to slip into his jungle gear and head into the outback just yet but has admitted he will discuss the opportunity if he's approached by bosses in the near future.
Speaking exclusively to BANG Showbiz, he said: "I'd never write off 'I'm A Celebrity... Get Me Out of Here!'. I went and did the panel last year and I did really enjoy it. The team is just extraordinary. It's one of the best production teams I've ever seen. There are 750 people that work there. It's enormous but yes I would never write it off and I would discuss the idea of it in several years. Not yet. The trials are really quite hardcore."
But, for now, the 28-year-old reality TV star has his hands tied up with his new forthcoming show 'Love Fix' as he explores the real world of sex, dating apps, and relationships.
Speaking of the straight-talking programme, he said: "This has been going on two-and-a-half years so it's the reason I left 'Made in Chelsea' back in the beginning because I was going to work on this show but then there were complications so we had to spend a long time developing it. We're basically calling it, the next 'Embarrassing Bodies' so it's quite naughty but informative. I'm very open on the show, I have no problems at all doing that but we're really opening doors."
'Love Fix' will air at 10pm on ITV2 on February 14.

Spencer Matthews has reportedly quit 'Made In Chelsea'.
The reality TV star has appeared in five series of the show, but has apparently decided to walk away in order to pursue other career opportunities.
A source told the Star on Sunday newspaper: "Spencer won't return for the next series of 'Made In Chelsea' which has just started filming.
"It's a massive loss to the E4 show because Spencer is undoubtedly its biggest and best-known character. Viewers just love to hate him."
Spencer courted controversy last year when he was thrown off the ITV programme 'I'm a Celebrity...Get Me Out of Here!'.
His three-day stint in the Australian jungle came to an abrupt end when producers learned of his secret steroid addiction.
Since then, Spencer has kept a low profile, although his jungle pal Vicky Pattison recently revealed he was in Tanzania.
Speaking in December, Vicky said: "I still haven't managed to see Spencer yet because he's away in Tanzania teaching kids English and building an orphanage.
"He obviously felt really bad about everything, and wanted to get away and give something back."
Meanwhile, Spencer has maintained a silence on his social media pages since November.

Zoe Ball says her husband's gravestone should describe him as a "very patient man" following her drink-fuelled Christmas kiss with an aspiring star.
The 45-year-old presenter was caught on camera snogging 22-year-old Tay Tay Starzh of little-known boyband Franklin Lake, but Zoe has dismissed speculation that her marriage to Norman Cook - who is better known as Fatboy Slim - is on the rocks.
She joked: "He has always said he wants his gravestone to read, 'Norman was a very patient man.' And that sums it up really!"
The duo have been married since 1999 and Zoe has insisted their relationship remains as strong as ever.
Zoe - who has two children with her husband, Woody, 15, and Nelly, five - told the Sunday Mirror newspaper: "We have a good understanding of each other. We're both pretty down-to-earth and the reasons I fell in love with him and we found each other in the first place are still there.
"Norman's always got time for people. He's just a beautiful, funny, charming, man. He also loves his job and I love watching him make other people get up and dance and have fun."

Bobby Davro would like to return to 'EastEnders' - but only for a "few little episodes" and "not too regularly."
The 57-year-old comedian walked away from the BBC One soap in late 2008 following 14 months portraying the lovable cabbie Vinnie Monks but he has admitted he hasn't ruled out a return in the future but it will only be temporarily.
Speaking exclusively to BANG Showbiz, he said: "I would go back in, I'd love to go back in for a few little episodes and come back out again. But if it doesn't happen it doesn't happen, and if they ask me I'll go. That's what I rather like, I don't want to be there for another year or two.
"I've done that, I've got that T-shirt. Last time they saw me off in a car and they said you can always come back if you want to and maybe I will come back if they ask."
However, the talented actor doesn't know where he'd slot into the storylines if he was brought back in as Vinnie because he doesn't make the effort to watch the soap - and never has.
He explained: "I never watched it, I never watched it when I was on it and I never do now. Occasionally I will, if I'm having my tea. I like the show, I liked being in it. But I wouldn't go in that regularly. I wouldn't want to be typed cast."

Ollie Locke's love life is a "disaster at the moment."
The 'Made in Chelsea' star, who came out as bisexual in 2011, has admitted his globe-trotting career and busy work schedule has forced him to put dating on the back-burner.
Speaking exclusively to BANG Showbiz, he said: "My love life is a disaster at the moment. It's a disaster, it's not great, it's fine though because I'm working so much at the moment that I haven't had time to date people but I do think it's really important to mix work and date someone in my spare time."
However, the 27-year-old reality TV star is desperate to find someone to settle down with and is even considering turning to internet dating - such as Tinder - to aid his love search.
He explained: "I haven't used internet dating before but it's something I'm discussing. I would also find it a little bit awkward because I would worry that people would swipe left [an act that rejects the connection] thinking I was a fraud.
"But I was also judge someone who said yes because they must be stupid for believing it's actually me."
Meanwhile, Ollie is currently fronting the new straight-talking show 'Love Fix', which hits screens next weekend, as he tackles the truth behind sex, dating apps, and relationships.
'Love Fix' will air at 10pm on ITV2 on February 14.

Dermot O'Leary has reportedly been offered a sensational deal to return to his hosting gig on 'The X Factor' this year.
The 42-year-old presenter, who fronted the programme for eight years, was dropped from the show in 2014 but it seems bosses are now regretting their decision as they've reached out to him and begged him to make a return.
A source told The Sun newspaper: "There has been a quiet approach via his management company. He's got more offers than he has ever had in his career at the moment."
However, Dermot is currently tied up with his new BBC weekend motoring show 'Getaway Car' but is still reportedly toying with the idea of returning to the singing competition after his replacements Olly Murs and Caroline Flack failed to pull in viewers following their hosting stint last year.
The insider explained: "He isn't on an exclusive contract with the BBC and would definitely love to work with ITV.
"For him the decision will probably come down to balance. A show like 'The X Factor' is a massive commitment and he wants to be able to continue making documentaries about more serious subjects as well."
Meanwhile, Dermot recently said the popular programme, which has been on screen for 12 years, needs to take a 12-month hiatus, or risk losing viewers forever, because the new recent changes to the show have turned people away.
