Ant and Dec would only quit TV together

Ant and Dec would quit TV together if one was to call it a day.
The comedy duo - who met on the set of 'Byker Grove' in 1989, which propelled their inseparable partnership - have admitted they wouldn't want to continue with their showbiz careers alone and are determined to bow out together.
Dec explained: "If one of us wanted to retire I guess we'd be like, 'C'est la vie' and we'd look at it."
Ant, 40, added with a giggle: "Well I hope it'd be a bigger goodbye than just, 'C'est la vie'"
However, the Geordie pair - who have become a household name and hold the title for The Most Popular TV Presenters - thoroughly enjoy working together on-screen and are adamant they don't intend to turn their back on TV just yet because they are having so much fun.
Speaking to the Metro newspaper, Dec, 40, said of retirement: "I don't think it's crossed either of our minds because we love what we do so much. It's all we can do!
"We're incredibly lucky and I get to work with my best mate - I don't know why I'd ever want to stop doing that really."

Jeremy McConnell buys Stephanie Davis a commitment ring

Jeremy McConnell has bought Stephanie Davis a ring.
The couple - who found love on 'Celebrity Big Brother' last month - may have only been dating six weeks but it seems their relationship is getting serious as the Irish hunk has seemingly splashed out on a diamond sparkler for the brunette beauty to prove his commitment.
And the former 'Hollyoaks' actress hasn't wasted any time showing off the dazzling jewel as she took to her Twitter account on Thursday (18.02.16) to flaunt the expensive-looking piece.
Alongside a close-up photograph of the sparkler, which she's placed on her middle finger, she wrote: "My beautiful ring of my baby @JezzaMcConnell a day without you feels like a year. You make me so happy. I love you, " followed shortly by "diamond ring. (sic)."
The flashy purchase comes after Jeremy, 25, revealed he'd love to marry Stephanie, 22, after they controversially fell for each other while trapped inside the 'Celebrity Big Brother' house last month.
He said recently: "All my friends are going to take the p*** out of me but I can see myself marrying her."
Meanwhile, the pair have already started hunting for their new love nest.
Stephanie explained: "Our first night alone together [after leaving the infamous abode earlier this month] was amazing. We didn't see the point in waiting around so we're moving in together."

David Morrissey to replace James Nesbitt in The Missing

David Morrissey and Keeley Hawes have joined series two of 'The Missing'.
The 'Walking Dead' star and the 'Ashes to Ashes' actress are set to start in the BBC One crime drama as on-screen husband and wife Sam and Gemma as they go in the hunt for their missing daughter Alice, played by Abigail Hardingham, who suddenly vanished in 2003.
The comeback series follows the same theme as its BAFTA-winning predecessor, split over two timelines, tracing Abigail's shock return to her German hometown after her 11-year absence.
Newcomer David, 51, will replace 'Cold Feet's James Nesbitt in the lead role after it was announced he will not be returning for this year's series.
The Northern Ireland actor - who played devoted father Tony Hughes who was determined to find out what happened to his young son Olly - told The Radio Times: "I was talking to someone about the ending and I was saying it definitely wasn't Olly at the end. Tony is demented and Oliver is dead and the only place that Tony can find solace is in this demented world. And that was how I was playing it."
However, fans will be thrilled to learn Tchéky Karyom will reprise his role as French Detective Julien Baptiste in the second series, while original writers Harry and Jack Williams, who are brothers, are also on board.
Series two has is set to run an eight-part series of one hour episodes and is rumoured to return to screens early next year.

Denise Robertson is battling pancreatic cancer

Denise Robertson has pancreatic cancer.
The 'This Morning' agony aunt - who joined the breakfast show in 1989 - has admitted she's been absent from the programme for the last couple of weeks because she's recently learnt she's been battling the disease for a while.
She explained: "I'm sorry I've not been around for a couple of weeks but a persistent health issue has turned into something quite a lot bigger. I've been diagnosed with pancreatic cancer. It has come as a surprise to me and my family but we know that many others have suffered and dealt with this condition and I don't plan to give up without a fight."
The 83-year-old star is set to undergo chemotherapy in the next coming weeks and is confident she can beat the illness.
She said: "My doctor is referring me for chemotherapy and hopefully that will start soon.
"I'd like to thank all the lovely viewers of 'This Morning' who have been concerned about my health recently and I hope I'll be back on the sofa soon."
Meanwhile, the whole production team on the brunch show have been left gobsmacked by the tragic news.
Rylan Clark-Neal, who is currently presenting the programme while Eamonn Holmes is recovering from a double hip replacement, announced the news this morning (19.02.16).
He said: "We have to begin with some very sad news that has left us in a state of shock."

Nick Grimshaw jokes he quit X Factor to eat curry

Nick Grimshaw is thrilled he's quit 'The X Factor' - because he can now slob on the sofa and scoff curry at the weekend.
The 31-year-old presenter shocked the nation when he announced he's decided to step down as a judge on the talent show after just one series but he has admitted, although he loved his gig, he's looking forward to having Saturday nights off so he can chow down a tasty takeaway.
He explained: "I did love it and it's not a diss to the show. It's a great show and I loved it. But it's definitely a once in a lifetime style thing. You can't have a curry when you're on it on a Saturday night, because you're there."
The radio host even went on to joke he only agreed to join the panel as a judge last year because big boss Simon Cowell promised he could tuck into a cheeky curry beforehand.
Speaking on his Radio 1 Breakfast show this morning (19.02.16), he quipped: "What's really good about 'The X Factor' is watching it at your house with your friends [and] having a curry. When you're there, there's no curry."
Meanwhile, Simon has reportedly decided One Direction hunk Louis Tomlinson, who was the music mogul's guest judge last year, will take Nick's place on the panel when the show returns to screens later this year, although former panellist Louis Walsh, who was dropped in 2014 after 11 years on the programme, is also rumoured to return.

Matt LeBlanc crashed motorbike on honeymoon

Matt LeBlanc crashed his motorbike on his honeymoon.
The 'Top Gear' presenter - who joined the motoring show earlier this month - has admitted he experienced the best ride of his life while celebrating his marriage with his now- ex-wife Melissa McKnight, with whom he has 12-year-old daughter Marina, in the French Alps in 2003, despite the fact he accidentally ploughed into something with her on his back.
When asked what the best drive of his life was, he explained: "Going through the Alps on a motorcycle with my wife on the back on our honeymoon.
"We only crashed once, so all in all it was a great ride."
And Matt wasn't the only member of the new 'Top Gear' line-up who has experienced a tough ride over the years as Formula One commentator Eddie Jordan, 67, followed a similar vein to his 48-year-old American co-star.
Speaking in the Top Gear magazine, he said: "When I was 14, I nicked the car keys out of my dad's pocket and took our Anglia 1200 out for a spin to Powerscourt, near Bray. I hit the kerb, went into the bank and put the car on its side."
Meanwhile, Matt and Eddie will present the revamped version of 'Top Gear' alongside Chris Evans, Sabine Schmitz, Rory Reid and Chris Harris when the show returns to screen on May 8 after they were pulled in as the replacement for Jeremy Clarkson, James May and Richard Hammond.
The April issue of BBC Top Gear Magazine will be on sale on Thursday (25.02.16).

Nick Grimshaw quits X Factor

Nick Grimshaw has quit 'The X Factor'.
The 31-year-old presenter has decided to step down as a judge on the talent show after just one series on the panel alongside Simon Cowell, Rita Ora and Cheryl Fernandez-Versini but is still a "massive fan" of the programme.
His spokesperson said: "After careful consideration, Nick's decided to rule himself out as a judge on this year's 'X Factor'.
"He loved working on last year's series alongside Rita, Cheryl and Simon but it was very much a once-in-a-lifetime experience. He remains a massive fan of the show and is looking forward to watching it this year."
Insiders claim Nick stepped down before show boss Simon had chance to axe him.
The source told The Sun newspaper: "Nick made the decision to jump before he was pushed and that is completely understandable."
Meanwhile, Caroline Flack is not expected to return as co-host of the show.
The 36-year-old star faced criticism for her presenting partnership with Olly Murs, but is also in negotiations to star in a West End production of 'Chicago' so would be unable to do both.
A source said: "Caroline's a really experienced broadcaster but the combination of two presenters just didn't work out this year.
"It's unfortunate for her, but the decision gives her the opportunity to take on a major West End role, which is something she's wanted for a long time."
Simon is keen to keep Cheryl on the panel, while Rita and Olly's fates are not yet known.
However, the music mogul reportedly already has One Direction hunk Louis Tomlinson in line to replace Nick, though will also consider a return for Louis Walsh.
A show source said: "Louis Tomlinson is very likely to replace Grimmy. He agreed in principle to the job while assisting Simon Cowell during the judges' houses round last year.
"But Simon remains very fond of Louis Walsh and came very close to bringing him back during last year's live shows.
"He felt a certain something was missing on the show without him."

Ricky Wilson: Flirting on The Voice is my gimmick

Ricky Wilson says his flirting on 'The Voice' is his "gimmick".
The Kaiser Chiefs frontman is known for his playful behaviour on the BBC One singing contest but he has openly admitted it's just a strategy to woo the ladies before he attempts to persuade them to join his team for the rest of the competition.
Speaking exclusively to BANG Showbiz, he said: "[flirting] That's my gimmick. We all have a good time on 'The Voice'."
However, the 38-year-old hunk thinks the audience have started to pick up on his well-rehearsed technique because he's been doing it ever since he started on the show in 2014.
He explained: "I am the first person to say it is a gimmick. I was saying to someone the other week and people picked up on it as if it was their story. It's not it's my story.
"I know what I am doing everyone knows what I am doing. I've been doing it for three years."
Meanwhile, Ricky is set to bow out of the show this year when it makes its shift to ITV for 2017 but he's adamant it won't be the last people see of him on television.
He said: "I hope I do more TV stuff. I did 'The Voice' and 'Bring The Noise' on Sky. I am very humbled by the fact people let me do these things."

Luis Morrison wants his own show with Cally Jane Beech

Luis Morrison and Cally Jane Beech want their own reality TV show.
The loved-up couple fell for each other on the dating show 'Love Island' last year and, now that they are the only pair to stay together after filming wrapped, have been perfecting their presenting skills as they believe they'll land an offer that will allow them to create and star in their own programme.
Luis, 20, told BANG Showbiz: "There are only us two left from the show so we want to have our own show. We kind of want a 'Love Island' thing and get involved in it some way.
"We are working on our presenting skills; we might get the call so we will see what happens."
But it's not just their own show they want as the duo also has their eye on Caroline Flack's presenting gig on 'Love Island'.
Cally, 23, said: "It would be better to present it."
Meanwhile, Caroline announced last week that she will be returning to host the programme's second series later this year along with narrator Iain Stirling.
And the next installment is set to be even more explosive as the chosen couples are put through their paces when they compete in games, go on steamy dates and have to adapt when new arrivals rock up on the island to cause some trouble.
The different challenges aim to break up relationships and cause arguments among the group, with the strongest couple being crowned the winner at the end of the series.
