Caroline Flack has confirmed she has quit 'The X Factor'.
The 36-year-old presenter has decided to follow in the footsteps of her co-star Olly Murs and bow out of the ITV talent show following a year presenting the programme.
She said: "I have had a brilliant time working on 'The X Factor' over the last few years, and hosting the main show was just fantastic, I made some amazing friends."
However, although she's turning her back on the show, the brunette beauty is adamant she hasn't called time on her relationship with the broadcasting channel and will continue to work with it in the future on her programme 'Love Island'.
She added: "I'm looking forward to carrying on working with the team over at ITV."
Caroline's decision to leave show comes just hours after Olly, 31, with whom she hosted the spin-off 'The Xtra Factor' from 2011 until 2013, announced he was quitting in order to focus on his music career.
The pair took on the live show last year after long-running host Dermot O'Leary was reportedly dropped as part of a shake-up, which also saw Rita Ora and Nick Grimshaw - who has now quit the panel ahead of this year's series - join the judges.
Meanwhile, bosses are currently in discussions over who will present the new series when it returns to screens later this year, as well as who will join long-time mentors Simon Cowell and Cheryl Fernandez-Versini on the judging panel.

'Benidorm' will return for another series.
The eighth season of the popular comedy - starring Sherrie Hewson, Tim Healy and Jake Canuso - is set to wrap up tonight (22.02.16) but fans won't have to wait too long to see their favourite characters getting up to mischief in the Solana hotel as bosses have confirmed they're set to kick off filming for the next installment in four weeks' time in Costa Blanca, Spain.
Saskia Schuster - the commissioning editor of 'Benidorm' - said: "The storylines for the new series of 'Benidorm' are wonderfully sharp and funny capturing the very heart and soul of what's made this comedy so successful with ITV viewers. We've got some really good surprises in store for viewers this year with filming set to commence on location next month."
Producers are remaining tight-lipped on details surrounding the new series - including who will return, guest stars and storylines - but have teased all will be revealed nearer the time.
And, although it's only series nine that has been given the go-ahead so far, it's believed production company Filming Spain has provisionally signed for series 10 as well, according to reports from Costa Blanca.
Meanwhile, fans are set to be in for a pleasant shock tonight when Liam Conroy (Adam Gillen) - who made a dramatic exit last year - turns up to surprise his father Les - also known as Lesley - (Tim) and confirms he'll be staying at the resort for good.

Ferne McCann is "obsessed" with other people's noses.
The former 'The Only Way is Essex' star has admitted she can't stop staring at other people's snouts and comparing them to the size of her bumpy honk.
She explained: "I am obsessed with noses. Obsessed! I look at everyone's. I have a massive insecurity with mine."
However, the 25-year-old star doesn't know if she'll ever be able to pluck up the courage to go under the knife.
She said: "I'm still not 100 per cent happy with my nose but I feel like, 'I haven't done it yet, there's a reason why.' Sometimes I love it and think, 'I couldn't imagine another nose' Other times I feel really sh*t and sit on Instagram and look at other girls, feeling depressed."
Meanwhile, Ferne's insecurities don't just stem from her nose as she also feels uncomfortable about her size 12 body.
She told heat magazine: "I don't feel confident. I really don't. I hate my belly. I've gone up to a size 12.
"There's nothing wrong with being a size 12. I mean... I can't have sex with anyone right now!
"I'm really trying to be good - cutting out bread, I don't drunk cow's milk or goat's milk. Milk is the devil!"

Samia Ghadie's daughter wants her to dress as a pineapple for her wedding.
The 'Coronation Street' actress is set to tie the knot with her fiancé Sylvain Longchambon later this year and, if her six-year-old daughter Freya, whom she has with her ex-husband Matt Smith, has her way, the couple will be walking down the aisle in a bright yellow fruit costume.
Samia explained to OK! magazine: "She is super excited. She watched a TV programme the other day where kids planned their parents' wedding.
"She said Yves and her had decided that we should get dressed up as pineapples. Basically the wedding would have been one big fruit salad."
And, although the loved-up pair are remaining tight-lipped on their big day, Samia has admitted she's started planning for her wedding but is adamant she'll never turn into a "bridezilla" because becoming husband and wife is just about a celebration of their love with family and friends.
She said: "We've got the venue and I went to a wedding fair at Tatton Park [in Cheshire] the other weekend, so I've got some ideas. We have a brilliant wedding planner called Julie Perry; she's so relaxed. She isn't stressed so we don't feel stressed. We're getting excited but we want the day just to reflect us as a couple. It's going to be relaxed and a great party for everyone. We want to just have our friends and family around us to help celebrate. I don't think I'm going to turn into bridezilla!"
The couple - who have been dating for three years - struck up a relationship after meeting on 'Dancing on Ice' in 2013, they got engaged last May and welcomed their son Yves - their first child together - into the world five months ago.

Olly Murs has quit 'The X Factor'.
The 31-year-old pop star has decided to pull the plug on the talent show after just one series as co-host with presenter Caroline Flack, 36, and says he's leaving to focus on his music.
He told The Sun newspaper: "This was an incredibly hard decision to make and one I didn't take lightly as I've really enjoyed co-hosting 'The X Factor'.
"It's been one big adventure and I loved every minute of it. But my heart belongs to music and I want to concentrate 100 per cent on making my next album and getting back to performing."
The cheeky Essex heartthrob admitted he first realised he couldn't balance both music and his hosting role in November of last year.
He added: "Last November I was doing the show, promoting a new single and I felt increasingly like the music side of things had to be shoehorned into the TV schedule.
"Now that I've started working on my next album I couldn't see myself having the time to do both."
The news of Olly's departure comes as an insider said Simon Cowell was keen to give him the chance to "walk before he's pushed".
A source said: "Simon Cowell likes Olly and doesn't want him to go under a cloud so he's being given the chance to walk before he's pushed. Olly always said he would never present the show without Caroline. "They come as a package. He had a good time on the show and got on very well with everyone but realises his forte is music."
Meanwhile, Caroline's future on the singing show is still uncertain.

Joe Swash has been eliminated from 'The Jump'.
The former 'EastEnders' star - who joined the competition two weeks ago as the replacement for Beth Tweddle - has been knocked out of the winter sports show after he received the lowest score in the Air Jump in tonight's episode (21.02.16).
Joe, 34, found himself in the bottom two, along with Sarah Harding, after he was advised not to take part in the moguls skiing round - featuring sharp turns, difficult manoeuvres and speed - after he chipped a bone in his shoulder last week.
After sustaining the injury, he explained: "I've done something to my shoulder. I've chipped a bone in my shoulder. I was ruled out of the Moguls."
And Joe was also left red-faced on live TV when host Davina McCall told viewers he was having a smooch with his new girlfriend Stacey Solomon.
She told the camera: "Stacey and Joe are K-I-S-S-I-N-G!"
Elsewhere in the episode, Dean Cain saw off competition from Heather Mills in the second race after she missed half of the course.
Explaining what happened, she said: "I was practising moguls a bit much and my line attachment [of her prosthetic leg] came off. So then I just went down the side so I could face The Jump."
And former The Wanted star Tom Parker was defeated by Ben Cohen, who picked up a mini cowbell trophy.
On next week's episode of 'The Jump' the remaining competitors will take on Ski Cross in the semi-final on Sunday February 28 at 8pm.

Ferne McCann thinks her departure from 'The Only Way is Essex' is a "massive loss."
The 25-year-old star announced she was leaving the reality TV show - the programme that made her famous - following her successful stint on 'I'm A Celebrity... Get Me Out of Here!' late last year and she believes she'll be sorely missed when the new series hits screens later this month.
She explained: "I do think people will miss me. I think I always provided great entertainment. So I definitely think I'm going to be a massive loss."
However, the blonde beauty is adamant she'll never turn her back on the show permanently and has teased she may make a cameo one day in future episodes.
She told heat magazine: "I would never ever turn my back on 'TOWIE'. I'm Essex through and through. I'm not one of those people who's like, 'I'm done with 'TOWIE'. People have slagged off the show. I'm really grateful to 'TOWIE'.
"I'm taking a massive step back from it, you won't be seeing much of me but I might slip in for a cameo."
