Laura Whitmore still gets "scared" doing live TV.
The 30-year-old presenter gets a "buzz" from being on camera in the moment, but admits she worries about losing her job if something didn't go to plan.
She said "I love anything that's live because of the buzz. Although I still get scared.
"I can hear the countdown in my ear - 'Now it's over to Laura, five, four three...' - and I think, 'What if I said nothing?'
"I wouldn't have a job afterwards but it's like, 'Oooh so much power.' "
Laura feels at ease interviewing other celebrities and tried not to be "intrusive" in her segments.
She told HELLO! magazine: "I'm never too intrusive in the sort of interviews I do and I love having chats, which is an Irish thing.
"I could chat, chat, chat all day about nothing."
And the blonde beauty - who was rumoured to have caught Leonardo DiCaprio's eye at the BAFTA Awards earlier this month - feels uncomfortable when her guests give too much away because she's so private about her own personal life.
She said: "I always try and keep my work and personal life separate.
"Whenever I interview people and they tell me too much, I always want to say, 'Don't tell me all this stuff', bcause I've seen what can be done with it."

Jorgie Porter is set to star in the forthcoming remake of 'Are You Being Served?'
The 'Hollyoaks' actress, 28, has landed the role of Miss Croft in the revived version of the BBC One sitcom, which was last aired in 1985 following a 13-year run, when it returns next year following 31 years away from screens.
Derren Litten, who wrote 'The Catherine Tate show' and is set to pen the script, said: "It was just too exciting an opportunity to pass up, and I am unanimous in that."
The comedic show is being revamped to celebrate the programme's 60th anniversary, which will see a return to the original characters, as well as new additions and, although it's only been given the go-ahead for a one-off series, it's thought the programme could return for more installments.
'Benidorm' star Sherrie Hewson has also been lined up for the show as she takes on the role of Mrs Slocombe, while 'Gavin and Stacey's' Mathew Horne will play Young Mr Grace - the grandson of original Young Mr Grace - and 'Only Fools and Horses' star John Challis will take on Captain Peacock.
The revamped series will be set in 1988 - two years after the sitcom's original run - and will see Young Mr Grace attempt to "drag" the Grace Brothers into his era but things don't go according to plan as Captain Peacock is still stuck in 1985.
Shooting for 'Are You Being Served?' is set to kick off next month and the show is scheduled to hit screens in 2016.

Stephanie Davis and Jeremy McConnell are back together.
The 'Celebrity Big Brother' stars, who split over the weekend following just six weeks of dating, have rekindled their relationship after working through their issues in a "crisis talk" this morning.
Taking to her Twitter account this afternoon (22.02.16), the former 'Hollyoaks' actress confirmed their reconciliation, writing: "Me and jez are still very much together. We're working around schedules to be with eachoteher. I'm madly in love with him. Thanks for the support though... All of the support though. Means a lot (sic)."
The couple announced their heartbreaking split this morning when Jeremy, 26, claimed he'd dumped the 22-year-old actress because he couldn't deal with the pressure that came with dating the television star.
A representative for the Irish hunk said at the time: "He cares really deeply for Steph however the pressure of the relationship was just too much. He really wishes it could have worked out and he wishes Steph the very best for the future."
However, a friend close to Stephanie believes their relationship came crumbling down after Jeremy vanished for an entire day and refused to answer her calls following a personal appearance at a nightclub in Scotland.
The insider explained: "She couldn't get hold of him for 24 hours and was really worried, especially with the recent rumours he cheated on her after a night out."
Meanwhile, the news the pair had called time on their romance came as a shock to fans as, just three days ago, Jeremy splashed out on a diamond ring for the brunette beauty.
They have also been discussing marriage and have been actively house-hunting for their own little love nest in London.
The couple struck up a romance in the 'Celebrity Big Brother' house last month while Stephanie was in a relationship with Sam Reece.

Coleen Nolan's husband was once left with a 48-hour erection after he took Viagra.
The 50-year-old presenter's spouse Ray Fensome, who she married in 2007 and has daughter Ciara, 15, with, once turned to the drug - typically used to treat erectile dysfunction - to spice up their sex life but soon regretted the decision when he was left with an overly-excitable penis for two days.
Speaking on 'Loose Women' this afternoon (22.02.16), she said: "Ray tried it [Viagra] and I said to him 48 hours later when it was still going, 'Don't ever do that again'. Because after five minutes, I was floored, honestly.
"And he hasn't done it again. I mean, give and take in a relationship and all that but seriously!"
And, despite Coleen's horror story, Linda Robson - who has been married to her husband Mark Dunford since 1990 - doesn't seem to be put off by the effects of the medication and is willing to try the female version to help snatch back her libido after losing it when she hit the menopause.
She said: "I'm on the menopause.
"I've been on HRT [hormone replacement therapy] and I've not been feeling as frisky as I once did. So if it would make me more frisky I'd be willing to try it."

Katie Price wants to co-host 'Loose Women' with Peter Andre.
The 37-year-old former glamour model now gets along well with her ex-husband - with whom she has children Junior, 10, and eight-year-old Princess - after years of animosity and she would happily join him behind the desk of the daytime show, on which they are both occasional panellists.
She said: "I think it would be quite funny if we did that. Imagine the banter. I'd be ribbing him and he'd be ribbing me.
"[Would it be awkward?] No I think it would be OK."
Katie admits her acrimonious split from Peter saw her image take a "battering" but she is hopeful things are back on the up for her and she has big plans for her TV work.
She told OK! magazine: "I'd like them to build me up so I can do my own show. Being back on ITV prime-time is amazing and I couldn't ask for anything more.
"I've got a great team now and I want to go back to the old me where I have all my endorsements again. Things have definitely changed for me now.
"I think that's because the whole me and Pete thing is over now. I was battered in the press and it really did affect my career.
"But I think I've come out of that now and I'm back to being the businesswoman that I like being. I'd love to do another reality show, but if no one wants me I'll just do it all on my app."

Kylie Minogue's on-screen daughter has joined 'Neighbours'.
The 47-year-old singer - who worked on the long-running soap from 1986 until 1988 - has praised Sarah Ellen, 18, on securing the role of her former alter-ego Charlene Robinson and her on-screen husband Scott Robinson's (Jason Donovan) daughter Madison Robinson and has wished her luck ahead of her debut on April 22.
She said: "Congratulations on your first acting job Sarah and welcome to the neighbourhood!
"A lot has changed since I was in 'Neighbours', but I have no doubt the family spirit of the cast and crew remains the same. Have a great time. Oh, and Charlene says, 'Don't forget to let me know you arrived safely.' "
Madison will arrive on Ramsay Street as an inspiring journalist, returning to check on her brother Daniel (Tim Phillipps), but it won't be a smooth visit as she is set to stir up some trouble in the neighbourhood along the way.
Sarah explained: "I'm really excited to be joining the cast of 'Neighbours' to play the role of Madison Robinson. She's feisty and adventurous; just like her on-screen mum Charlene. It's been great fun onset so far and I can't wait to see what my social media audience thinks of my new role.
"I feel really privileged that my first major TV role is on such an iconic Australian programme. It's been a great experience on 'Neighbours' to learn scripts and work with the cast and crew. Everyone has been super friendly and helpful. "
'Neighbours' airs weekdays on Channel 5 at 1.45pm and 5.30pm.

Stephanie Davis reportedly dumped Jeremy McConnell after he failed to answer her phone calls for 24 hours.
The former 'Hollyoaks' actress called time on her short-lived romance with the Irish hunk after he vanished for an entire day following a personal appearance at a nightclub in Scotland.
A source told the Daily Mirror newspaper: "She couldn't get hold of him for 24 hours and was really worried, especially with the recent rumours he cheated on her after a night out.
"He was at a personal appearance in Fife at Kitty's nightclub and she panicked when she couldn't reach him."
The couple sparked rumours their whirlwind romance had come crashing down over the weekend when they cancelled a joint appearance on 'Loose Women' and deleted one another from their social networking sites.
An insider explained to the MailOnline: "They've had a row and things have got pretty bad so they unfollowed each other after deciding it is over. They were supposed to be going on 'Loose Women' together to talk about their romance but they've had to shelve that for now."
Meanwhile, the split no doubt came as a shock to friends and family as just one day prior to their alleged split, Jeremy, 25, had splashed out on a diamond ring for the brunette beauty.
Not only that, the handsome model has made no secret of the fact he'd like to make an honest woman of the 22-year-old star after they admitted they were house-hunting together.
The couple struck up a romance in the 'Celebrity Big Brother' house last month while Stephanie was in a relationship with Sam Reece but, despite their flirtatious antics sparking controversy in the infamous abode, the pair insisted their love was the real deal.

'Harry Potter's Harry Melling wants to be the next Doctor Who - like his grandfather.
The 26-year-old actor - who played Dudley Dursley in the famous fantasy franchise - is keen to follow in Patrick Toughton's footsteps and land the role of the Time Lord in the next series of BBC One's science fiction programme.
Speaking to the Radio Times magazine, he said: "I would love to be the next new Doctor. I am not the person in charge of that but I would love to keep it in the family."
However, Harry fears he may have to wait a while to fulfil his goal as he believes his age will likely stop him in his tracks.
He explained: "It probably won't happen as I might need to be a bit older. I've really enjoyed doing theatre but getting Doctor Who in the family again would be great."
Harry's passion for acting has undoubtedly stemmed from Patrick - who portrayed the second Doctor from 1966 until 1969 before reprising the role in 1973, 1983, and 1985 - as well as his supportive parents.
He added: "My parents all come from an acting family."
Meanwhile, the role of the Doctor could be up for grabs as Peter Capaldi - who has played the current incarnation for two years - has hinted he may leave the programme so new showrunner Chris Chibnall can have a "fresh start" when he takes the reins from current producer Steven Moffat next year.
