Fleur East thinks Louis Tomlinson has been eyeing up a judging slot on 'The X Factor' for the last two years.
The One Direction singer, who won the show with his band in 2010, is rumoured to be joining the panel alongside Cheryl Fernandez-Versini and Simon Cowell later this year but the 'Sax' hitmaker is convinced he's wanted that gig for a while.
Speaking to BANG Showbiz on the red carpet at WE Day UK, held in London, today (09.03.16), Fleur - who won the eleventh series of the singing competition in 2014 - said: "He was actually in a lot of my tech rehearsals with Simon when I was on the show, so I think even from then he was seeing how it all worked. He was always saying, 'You're amazing, you're doing a great job, just enjoy it, have fun, don't stress too much,' and that really good advice."
And, although his place on the tough-talking panel is yet to be confirmed ahead of the next series in September, the curly-haired beauty is convinced Louis, 23, is the perfect person as wannabes will take his advice on board and look up to him.
She explained: "Who better than someone who has actually been through the same experience, than him? I know so many contestants can't wait to hear his advice. I would have loved to have heard his advice before I went on the show."

Ashleigh Butler wants to be a guest judge on 'Britain's Got Talent'.
The talent show champion - who shot to fame in 2012 when she and her beloved pet pooch Pudsey stunned with their 'Thriller' routine - is desperate to join the panel, consisting of Simon Cowell, David Walliams, Alesha Dixon and Amanda Holden, when the show returns next year for another impressive series.
Speaking exclusively to BANG Showbiz, she said: "It would be amazing to go back and be a guest judge or something like that on 'Britain's Got Talent', because I have been on that stage and I know how they're feeling."
But her aspirations don't just stop at being a guest judge as the 21-year-old beauty also has her eye on ditching the dancing tricks in order to dabble in more presenting in the future.
She explained: "For me personally, I would like to get a bit more into presenting. I have done a little bit for CBBC and we had our own TV show for that as well, so for me that's maybe a direction I'd like to go in. We did do a spin off show a couple of years ago, it was a dog dancing show and that went out at Christmas, and I was a judge on that with Sharon Osbourne, which was great fun."
However, for the meantime, the starlet and her four-legged friend have their hands tied up with their upcoming tour 'Mission ImPudseyable'.
She added: "But at the moment, the stage show is just taking up so much of our time with the tour. Every other job we have thought about doing or want to do we have had to put on hold."
The tour starts on March 25 at Bradford's Alhambra and will draw to a close on June 5 at Southend Cliffs Pavilion.

Lysette Anthony's lavish wardrobe caused tension among her castmates when she arrived on 'Hollyoaks' last month.
The 52-year-old actress ruffled a few feathers when she rocked up to set a few weeks ago dressed head-to-toe in Prada for her new role as the ultra-glamorous Marnie Nightingale, while the rest of the cast on the Channel 4 soap were lumped with cheap unbranded items.
The former model - who branded the Face of the Eighties' by photographer David Bailey - explained: "They made a mistake of putting Prada in the screen test. Alex, our fantastic designer, said, 'Well, they wrote it in the script!' I can't complain about days at the office at the moment."
And her new on-screen lavish lifestyle isn't something Lysette, who joined the soap last month, is used to as she became a homeless single mother following her divorce from her third husband Simon Boswell in 2003.
Speaking to The Sun newspaper, she said: "It was middle class homelessness -- friends offered us things. We went from a big house to a spare room but that's not great when you have a six-year-old son. It was a very difficult time."
Meanwhile, Lysette is enjoying getting her teeth stuck into her role as Marnie and has warned no male is safe from the claws of her conniving alter-ego.
She said of her bolshie character: "I have a new saying, it's: 'the power of Milf, fasten your seat belt!' "

'Strictly Come Dancing' has been dealt a shocking blow after four professional dancers quit ahead of the next series.
The future of the Ballroom and Latin show hangs in the balance after hip-snaking hunk Tristan MacManus, who joined the programme two years ago, decided to bow out.
Speaking to the fan site MacManiacs.org - a website dedicated to the dancing professional - Tristan, who was paired with Jamelia on the last show, said: "I think the show needs someone a lot different to me on the show to get what they want, and I need something a lot different to make me happy and get what I want out of it. I think there will be a lot of changes on the show, and I have enjoyed it for the most part but right now I just need a break from it all."
Tristan's decision to leave the popular show comes just two months after pregnant Kristina Rihanoff confirmed she would be stepping down as a professional dancer on the programme in order to have her baby with Ben Cohen.
A few weeks before that, Aliona Vilani - who won the show last year with Jay McGuiness - quit to start a family with her husband, while Ola Jordan also claimed she will be leaving too.
Despite the professionals seemingly dropping like flies, bosses are adamant the show will still go ahead as they still have six months to nab themselves a killer line-up.
A spokesperson for the show told the Mirror Online: "The new series is still six months away and the 2016 professional dancers line-up will be announced in due course."

Jeremy McConnell and Stephanie Davis are reportedly holding "crisis talks" following their split last week.
The 26-year-old hunk has rushed out to join the axed 'Hollyoaks' actress in Majorca, Spain - where she has been nursing her broken heart - in a bid to win her back after they separated following his shock confession to cheating.
A source told the Daily Star: "He flew out for their crisis talks because he can't live without her."
And it seems Jeremy is doing all he can to woo the brunette beauty as he's reportedly packed a mystery ring in the hope of popping the question on the Balearic Island.
The insider explained: "Stephanie has told her friend she has seen a ring in a box and that it looks like an engagement ring. Steph is head over heels in love with Jeremy and it is 100 per cent real love."
Stephanie, 22, fled to Majorca last week when the hunky model confessed to romping with Caroline Pope, 19, behind her back, following an appearance in Newcastle, just a day after he left the 'Celebrity Big Brother' house.
And it seems it will take more than a ring to win the actress back as she recently admitted she was in "bits" following the outrageous confession and doesn't know whether she'll ever be able to trust the Irishman again.
She previously said: "I trusted him and he said he'd never break my heart. I don't know how I'll ever trust a man again."

EastEnders' bosses have promised Dame Barbara Windsor's alter-ego Peggy Mitchell will bow out in "style."
The bolshie matriarch is set to break hearts across the nation later this year when she's dramatically killed off in gut-wrenching cancer scenes but, despite the bitter disease taking her life, producers are adamant the lovable character will be given an explosive and memorable send off.
Danny-Boy Hatchard, who portrays Lee Carter in the soap, told Digital Spy of Peggy's death: "I think it's an honour to potentially be a part of that and to be on it at the same time as they are, and obviously with Peggy's leaving.
"In typical Dame Barbara Windsor style she's going out in style as well, absolutely, yes. You definitely have to tune in."
However, Lin Blakley , who plays Pam Coker in the soap, believes Peggy's departure will be one that will stay with cast, viewers and characters for a long time afterwards.
She explained: "I think it will be a shame because she comes in every now and again and she's always a lovely person to see because she's so bubbly ... But she'll have a good send-off. And we're doing the funeral, of course!"
Peggy's dramatic exit will no doubt have fans weeping into their tissues as the whole Mitchell clan - including mega bitch Sam (Danniella Westbrook), bad boy Grant (Ross Kemp) and alcoholic Phil (Steve McFadden) - gather around to bid farewell to the former Queen Victoria pub landlord.

Robbie Williams' wife is being lined up for a regular role on 'Loose Women'.
American actress Ayda Field, who has children Theodora and Charlton with the former Take That singer, impressed bosses of the daytime chat show so much during a recent interview that they want to make her a regular on the programme.
Ayda has already been lined up as a guest panellist and told The Sun: "I'm looking forward to getting stuck in to topics with the ladies."
Editor Sally Shelford added: "Ayda is everything we hope for in a Loose Woman."
Speaking on the show previously, Ayda, 36, dished on her marriage to Robbie and gushed about their happy marriage.
She said: "I think our mutual connection is we make each other laugh.
"Before Rob, maybe because I was an American where irony doesn't necessarily exist I never met anyone who shared my sense of humour.
"We understood each other, it was like this revelation, he could understand me and I could understand someone else."
Ayda also joked her spouse is good at "pretending" to be a pop star, but she also thinks he has a lot of acting talent.
She said: "Robbie pretends to be a pop star - I mean that in a good way, I don't mean that in a bad way.
"He's a really good actor, he's very funny, we do little bits when I'm running scenes and I'll make him run the lines with me and he's really good.
"I think he's got a future in the entertainment business."

Mark-Francis Vandelli has to have another operation on his ankle following his tumble on 'The Jump' last month.
The 'Made in Chelsea' star, who was forced to pull out of the winter sports show after he snapped his ankle four weeks ago, has admitted he's got a long way to go before he'll be completely healed as he needs to go under the knife again in the next coming months.
He explained to Star magazine: "I've had surgery. I have eight screws in my ankle and I need another operation. I'm in a cast for a couple of months, I can't really do anything! But it was a great experience. I loved every minute of it."
The 27-year-old posh boy became the fourth celebrity to bow out of the dangerous programme after he cracked the bone in his foot while battling it out in the aggressive Snow Cross challenge on live television at the beginning of February.
'The Jump', which concluded last weekend when rugby hunk Ben Cohen nabbed the winner's trophy, has come under fire this year after a number of celebrities were left with life-changing injuries and were forced to seek medical help.
But Mark isn't the only competitor who is still battling with his injury long after the accident as Olympic gymnast Beth Tweddle is currently undergoing rehabilitation after she broke her back when she ploughed into a barrier and landed awkwardly on her spine.
Rebecca Adlington also still has her arm strapped up in a sling after she dislocated her shoulder in the Air Jump.
And 'Holby City' actress Tina Hobley is still in a cast after she dislocated her elbow and fractured her arm when the crew failed to vacate the landing area.
