‘The Only Way is Essex’ newbie Jordan Wright has reportedly been axed from the show.
The handsome reality TV star has appeared on screen since the beginning of March, but his time on the ITVBe series has come to a dramatic end as bosses have reportedly suspended him after they found out he was allegedly taking paid sick leave from the London Fire Brigade without prior written consent from the fire and rescue service.
His colleagues are said to be "fuming" that Jordan has been able to film the show while being paid from the London Fire Brigade – even though he hasn’t been at work.
One of his colleagues told the Daily Mirror newspaper: "Why is he still being paid to do a job that he’s not doing, while we can all see him on TV?"
Jordan will not film anymore scenes for ‘TOWIE’ while the LFB investigate but he will "briefly appear" in next Sunday’s episode as he had already shot those takes.
A source explained: "We won’t film with him until this is resolved."
Although he’s only been on screen for a month, Jordan certainly made an impact as he got into a blazing row with Myles Barnett over his flirtatious banter with Courtney Green.
The hunk also hit the headlines when he was spotted on a date with Jemma Lucy recently in London – sparking rumours that they were going to give their romance a go.
A source said recently: "Jordan and Jemma have been good mates for nearly a year now, but last night they decided to go on their first evening out – just the two of them.
"They get on really well and there was a really good vibe during the ‘date’, so who knows what could happen? Jordan has already caused quite the stir on ‘TOWIE’, but there’s nothing going on with him and Courtney and if last night was anything to go by – he could end up being more than just friends with Jemma."
