Top Gear’s Chris Evans and Matt LeBlanc fall out over stunt

‘Top Gear’s Chris Evans and Matt LeBlanc have allegedly fallen out over last month’s "disrespectful" donut stunt.
The presenting duo – who were signed to the reboot earlier this year – have locked horns because the radio host blames the former ‘Friends’ actor for tarnishing the show’s name by performing tricks next to the Cenotaph in London.
A source explained to The Sun newspaper: "Matt was never Chris’ choice [as co-host] – it was a decision forced upon him to attract the US market. He accepted it and was desperate to strike up a bond when they were filming but the spark just wasn’t there. Since the Cenotaph, their relationship’s deteriorated. Chris thinks Matt severely damaged the brand. Behind the scenes it’s very frosty between them."
The 48-year-old hunk sparked uproar when he was seen hopping into a lavish Hoonicorn in March before leaving tyre marks on the streets surrounding the war memorial.
Chris – who took on the motoring show in June – was left red-faced when he was forced to address the stunt and apologise to the nation live on his radio show the following day.
The scenes, which required a council and police-approved road closure, took the film crew hours to shoot but will now not feature in the new series of the car show next month.
‘Top Gear’ returns to screens on May 8.
