Toni Braxton has announced a North American greatest hits tour.
The 48-year-old R&B superstar will embark on her 18-date ‘The Hits Tour’, which kicks off at the Paramount Theatre in Oakland, California on October 8, before finishing off at the Circus Maximus in Atlantic City, New Jersey on November 12.
Announcing the run of dates on her Instagram, she wrote: "So excited to announce my new tour starting in October. Can’t wait to see you all."
The announcement comes after it was revealed the Grammy-award-winning star will receive the BMI (Broadcast Music Inc.) President’s Award to recognise her impact on popular music over the years.
The ‘Un-Break My Heart’ hitmaker will receive the prize at the prestigious awards ceremony held on September 1 at The Woodruff Art Center’s Symphony Hall in Atlanta, Georgia.
But those expecting to hear new material from the songstress might have to wait a while.
The brunette beauty revealed she has been working on a follow-up to 2014’s ‘Love, Marriage & Divorce’ with her long-time producer Babyface.
in 2015, she said: "I am working on an album right now.
"I’m working on it, I’m getting back into the mix again. I’m working with different writers and producers … Me and Babyface will definitely do something again later but this is gonna be just me."
