Tom Hiddleston has control over Bond rumours

Tom Hiddleston doesn’t know if he has a chance of playing James Bond.
The 35-year-old actor has been honest about his interest in the role and his desire to take over 007’s tuxedo when Daniel Craig walks away from the part.
Hiddleston’s ‘Thor: The Dark World’ co-star and friend Idris Elba is also being tipped for the iconic part but he insists they’ve never discussed it and he has no control over the rumour mill.
When asked if he and Elba have ever talked about Bond, he quipped: "I know, right? We should. What the hell is going on? Honestly, I have no control over it."
The Bond rumours intensified after Hiddleston appeared in a scene in BBC TV series ‘The Night Manager’ ordering 007’s signature drink, a vodka Martini.
But the actor insists it means nothing.
He told The Daily Beast: "Oh, right! Yeah! Honestly, I didn’t think about it as I said it. I can’t remember if it was in the script or I improvised it. I’m pretty sure I improvised it though because, actually, [co-star] Hugh Laurie really loves a vodka Martini. So I was just in that mode
"It’s pretty great that in the age of box sets and Netflix, to still have it be (a TV event). I’m so happy to hear that people have set their watches and rushed back early to tune in."
