Tom Hardy grew up on Star Wars

Tom Hardy grew up on ‘Star Wars’.
The 39-year-old actor is set to play a Stormtrooper in ‘Star Wars: The Last Jedi’ and has opened up about his childhood memories of watching the blockbuster sic-fi franchise.
Speaking about the new ‘Season Of The Force’ attraction at Disneyland Paris, he said: "It’s the perfect break away if you like ‘Star Wars’, Which I do I grew up on them, It’s been fantastic."
The British hunk plans on going back to Disneyland to visit the showcase in Paris, where he will no doubt get inspiration for his forthcoming role as a solider of the Galactic Empire.
He added: "It’s been really well put together, it’s a great experience. I had a great time and I will definitely be coming back."
Earlier this month, Hardy addressed reports he will play a Stormtrooper in the next Instalment of the franchise.
He refused to confirm if he will be involved and teased that he didn’t know if he was allowed to talk about the role.
He said: "I don’t know if I can even say that … the internet is a glorious web of deceit and misinformation, isn’t it?"
When asked if the report was misinformation, he replied, "It could be, couldn’t it?"
Meanwhile, the ‘Mad Max: Fury Road’ star recently expressed how unimpressed he is with modern day superheroes.
Hardy is not a fan of how "clean-living" the characters in such films have become unlike back in the 80s.
Describing the differences between Harrison Ford’s Indiana Jones and Chris Hemsworth’s Thor, explained "One was allowed to express personal characteristics.
"Now you’ve got to look like you’ve just come off a vega diet, gone to the gym, part Navy Seal, really clean-valued, clean-living, moralistic – and then you go out and save the world from an impending danger that isn’t really dangerous at all."
‘Season Of The Force’ at Disneyland Paris is on now until March 26 and is an unforgettable galactic experience that celebrates the entire saga of Star Wars, including the recent box office hit ‘Rogue One: A Star Wars Story’.
