Tom Fletcher would never agree to ‘Dancing on Ice’ – because he won’t "look good in a leotard."
The McFly singer has admitted he’d have to turn down the chance to compete on the skating show, which is set to make a comeback next year after three years off screen, if bosses approached him because he couldn’t deal with the skimpy outfits, but he thinks his wife Giovanni Fletcher would be the perfect candidate for the competitive series.
Speaking exclusively to BANG Showbiz, he said: "I don’t think I would look good in a leotard – you’d be good in that – I don’t know. I’m too competitive I think I think that’s my problem."
And the 32-year-old hunk wouldn’t sign up to ‘Strictly Come Dancing’ or ‘I’m A Celebrity… Get Me Out of Here!’ because he couldn’t follow in the footsteps of his band mates after Harry Judd won the ballroom and latin show and Dougie Poynter was crowned King of the Jungle in 2011.
He explained: "I don’t want to do those two because they won them."
But that doesn’t stop Tom hinting that he could be on the line-up as last year he sent fans into a frenzy when he uploaded a photograph of a cockroach sitting on a bed of stuffing that he’d received in the post.
He accompanied the suspicious upload with the caption: "You know it’s going to be a cool package when you open it to find this," followed by a scream face and thumbs up.
