Tom Daley’s unplanned dinner parties

Tom Daley’s training schedule is "so hectic" that he can hardly find time to plan to socialise.
The Olympic swimmer – who recently married screenwriter and filmmaker Dustin Lance Black in a luxurious ceremony at Bovey Castle – admits his busy schedule can make it difficult to find the time to spend with his family and friends.
He said: "My training schedule is so hectic, it’s hard to put aside time to plan for socialising – on the rare times I get a day off, I’m more likely to ring up friends and family and invite them round that day!"
A recent poll of 2,000 revealed that the British public believe they need over a week to plan a dinner party but Tom surprised guests by throwing a dinner party in just six hours in an Argos campaign that will inspire the nation and demonstrate to them just how easy and quick it is to entertain.
Argos set Tom a challenge to organise a pop-up supper club for 20 guests in just six hours.
Presented with an empty space, Tom orders a ton of kitchenware, glasses, plates and cutlery from Argos with same day delivery
He added: "The Fast Track challenge was probably the quickest I’ve ever turned a dinner party around.
"It was a bit touch and go for some of it, but it just goes to show, with a little creativity and same day delivery it can be done as fast as you need it!"
