Tinie Tempah thrills fans at War Child BRITs Week concert

Tinie Tempah gave his fans a Valentine’s Day (14.02.17) treat on Tuesday by performing an incredible concert in London as part of the War Child BRITs Week together with O2.
The 28-year-old rapper played a show to 2,000 fans at the O2 Shepherd’s Bush Empire and had the crowd bouncing to old hits such as ‘Pass Out’ and tracks from his forthcoming new album ‘Pass Out’.
Tine was joined on the bill by Lianne La Havas, Anne Marie and Darline.
All fans lucky enough to get their hands on a ticket did so through a prize draw with ballot entries to win a pair of tickets costing £5 with all proceeds going to War Child, raising money for children whose lives have been torn apart by conflict.
After coming off stage, Tinie took to his Twitter account to thank everyone who came to the concert, tweeting: "Thanks Shepherd’s Bush. First gig of the year. I hope your Valentine’s Day was #SomethingSpecial (sic)"
On the same evening, BRITs Critics’ Choice Award winner Rag’n’Bone Man was playing his own War Child show at the Clapham Grand, wowing the 1,200 capacity crowd.
The War Child series of gigs all take place in London between February 14 and 24 in the lead up to the BRIT Awards and celebrate another phenomenal year for British music.
Other artists scheduled to perform as part of BRITs Week with War Child together with O2 include Biffy Clyro, The 1975, Craig David, Richard Hawley and Paul Weller, Basement Jaxx, Wild Beasts, Rick Astley and Jack Savoretti.
In 2016, War Child raised a record breaking £564,768 by staging spectacular shows together with O2 as part of BRITs Week.
