Tina O’Brien felt like she’d only been gone a week when she returned to ‘Coronation Street’.
The 32-year-old actress reprised her role as Sarah-Louise Platt last year following a seven-year break, and despite being away from Wetherfield for so long, she found it very "normal" when she returned to the cobbles.
She said: "It’s completely different [this time] but when I came back and did my first scene with the Platts, it was really odd how normal it felt. I’d not been there for seven years and, honestly, I felt like I’d only been gone a week."
However, when she finishes filming, Tina – who has daughter Scarlett, seven, with ex-boyfriend Ryan Thomas, and son Beau, 18 months, with partner Adam Crofts – admits things are very different than with her first stint.
She told OK! magazine: "I’m coming at it from a different angle. I’m much older now, I’ve got a family and I think your priorities change. I can notice the difference more because I left when I was 24 and I had no children. Now I’m nearly 33 and I’ve got two children and it just means a lot more juggling and being more tired basically."
