Thomas Markle will always ‘regret’ not attending daughter’s wedding

Thomas Markle "will always regret" not being at his daughter Meghan’s wedding.
The father of the bride was devastated to have not been able to make it to the ceremony at St. George’s Chapel, Windsor Castle on Saturday (19.05.18) due to having to undergo surgery and says seeing Prince Harry tie the knot with the ‘Suits’ actress was "beautiful".
He said: "The service was beautiful and it’s history. I will always regret not being able to be there and not being able to hold my daughter’s hand … My baby girl is a duchess and I love her so much. When you watch your child get married, every thought goes through your mind, every memory from the first day she was born, the first time I held her."
And Thomas has publicly urged his relatives – who have been very outspoken about Meghan’s relationship with her father – to "shut up about everything" now the couple have tied the knot and become man and wife.
He added to TMZ: "Now I pray that Harry and Meghan can go on a nice honeymoon and rest and relax, and all of my relatives will just shut up about everything."
Meanwhile, Thomas previously revealed he thought his daughter Meghan looked "beautiful" as she tied the knot with Harry.
He gushed: "My baby looks beautiful and she looks very happy. I wish I were there and I wish them all my love and all happiness."
Thomas was forced to stay at home after having stents implanted in his blood vessels but recently insisted that he was feeling "OK" but says he will take "a long time to heal".
He shared: "I’m OK. It will take a long time to heal. Staying in the hospital a few more days. Not allowed to get excited."
