The Voice final and semi-final postponed

‘The Voice’ bosses have postponed the show’s semi-final and final.
The stages were due to play out in episodes on March 28th and April 4th, but due to the coronavirus pandemic ITV have confirmed those episodes will not take place as scheduled.
Kevin Lygo, ITV Director of Television, said in a statement: "We have taken the difficult decision to postpone until later this year The Voice UK’s live semi-final and final, which were due on air on the 28th March and 4th April, and are working to replace them in the schedule with some bespoke Voice specials.
"We are also working with our production colleagues to see how we can make the BGT live shows work in an ever-changing situation and we will update on this in due course."
But ‘The Voice’ knockouts will still air this weekend as usual, because they are pre-recorded, and ITV say the ‘Britain’s Got Talent’ audition episodes, which are due to air in a few weeks, will still be on.
Kevin added: "’The Voice UK’ knockouts, which are pre-recorded, will continue to be broadcast this weekend and the Britain’s Got Talent audition shows are due to be broadcast in the next few weeks as planned."
The postponement comes after several other ITV shows were affected by the virus, which has killed more than 8,000 people worldwide.
‘Ant and Dec’s Saturday Night Takeaway’ will air without a studio audience for the first time this weekend, and ‘Loose Women’ has also aired without a studio audience this week.
