The Vivienne wants a spot on ‘I’m A Celebrity…Get Me Out of Here!’
The ‘RuPaul’s Drag Race UK’ winner – whose real name is James Lee Williams – would love the chance to camp out in the Australian jungle on the ITV reality show despite her fear of creepy crawlies.
Appearing on ITV’s ‘Lorraine’ on Tuesday (14.07.20), she said: "What an amazing opportunity that would be. I don’t know how – I’m petrified of spiders but get me to that jungle.
"I’d do it. What a great life opportunity that I’m never gonna get again, so I’m all for that. I’d have to take all my makeup and my mirrors."
Her comments come as singer Jessie J is reportedly being lined up to star in the next series of the jungle show.
ITV bosses are said to be keen to get the 32-year-old pop star – as well as ex-England footballer Paul Merson – on the hit show in a bid to create their most star-studded line-up ever.
A source revealed: "The jungle is the jewel in ITV’s crown and they’re desperate to land top talent to keep viewers hooked.
"Paul is really keen to relaunch his TV career and thinks this is the best way to do it after he’s seen what it has done for his mate Harry Redknapp, but he needs it to be worth his while and is negotiating for a top price.
"Jessie’s been offered good money but isn’t sure that the show is for her. She is keen to put her music first."
Meanwhile, The Vivienne will be able to get some tips on the Australian jungle from former campmate Fleur East – who took part in 2018 – when she appears on Fleur’s new podcast ‘The Reality of Reality TV’.
The 32-year-old singer and radio host – who rose to fame on ‘The X Factor’ in 2005 – will speak to other reality stars to uncover the truth behind the nation’s favourite shows by discussing their best, worst and most real moments on the small screen.
