The Vamps are just "friends who do normal things".
The group – which includes Brad Simpson, James McVey, Connor Ball and Tristan Evans – insist they are just "regular guys" and would hate for anyone to think they have become more "condescending and in a higher position" since they became famous.
Speaking to the Nottingham Post newspaper, James said: "We still try to get home as much as we can and we’re just friends that like to do normal things.
"We’re regular guys. There’s nothing worse than people being condescending and feeling like they’re in a higher position. We talk to people and behave like we always have … We have a loyal fan base, the best fans in the world."
And despite enjoying spending time at home, the ‘Can We Dance’ hitmakers always have a great time touring together.
The 21-year-old singer said previously: "We tend to pick the nights we party. The mini-bar is safe but in London we will have a few drinks with friends and family.
"Backstage it’s all protein shakes, coffee, ginger and lemon. Nothing diva-ish apart from Haribo sweets. And we like to huddle and rub chins together before stage time."
