The Notorious B.I.G reportedly asked Tupac to be his manager

The Notorious B.I.G had reportedly asked Tupac to be his manager.
The late rapper – who was also known as Biggie Smalls – had allegedly asked the late record producer and ‘California Love’ hitmaker to help him make his breakthrough because his music career "wasn’t taking off" as rapidly as he had hoped for.
Speaking on the ‘Murder Master Music Show’ about the relationship between the rappers, author Ben Westhoff said: "People forget that Tupac was already blowing up, already a pretty big star when Biggie was just kind of getting started.
"Tupac kind of took Biggie under his wing and tried to teach him everything he knew, kind of took him to school.
"Biggie’s career wasn’t taking off as fast as he hoped it would. And so he actually asked Tupac if he would be his manager."
However the ‘Poetic Justice’ actor – whose full name was Tupac Shakur – reportedly rejected Biggie’s – whose real name was Christopher George Latore Wallace – request because he wanted him to remain loyal to P Diddy.
Biggie proved to be a success under the 46-year-old artist and producer’s label Bad Boy Entertainment.
Meanwhile Tupac – who was shot at during a drive by in Nevada, Las Vegas in 1996, which saw him hospitalised for six days before he died aged 25 – allegedly believed Biggie was aware of the incident to come and was upset to think his former friend "double crossed him".
Westhoff explained: "After he got shot, Tupac believed that Biggie knew about it in advance, knew it was going to happen. That made him doubly mad because he mentored Biggie so much anfd helped him, and he really believed that he double-crossed him."
