The Kaiser Chiefs and Tom Odell are to play MTV Crashes Coventry.
They join electronic music duo Chase & Status to perform on day one of the music event at Coventry’s Ricoh Arena on May 27.
Club MTV will close the two-day event the following day (28.05.16).
Speaking about the gig, the Kaiser Chiefs said: "We can’t wait to crash Coventry! We played MTV Crashes Plymouth two years ago and it was amazing, we are so excited to do it all over again this year!"
Fronted by The Voice’s Ricky Wilson, the Kaiser Chiefs – also comprised of Andrew White, Simon Rix, Nick Baines and Vijay Mistry – have delivered a string of indie rock anthems such as ‘Oh My God’, ‘I Predict A Riot’, ‘Everyday I Love You Less And Less’, ‘Ruby’ and ‘Never Miss A Beat’.
The band, who formed in Leeds in 2003, are currently working on their sixth studio album with producer Xenomania, which is due for release later in the year.
MTV Crashes Coventry will be broadcast on MTV’s flagship UK music TV channels, shown in over 35 countries.
