‘The Inbetweeners 2’ will be released in the UK and Ireland on August 6.
The comedy will have Simon Bird, James Buckley, Blake Harrison and Joe Thomas reprise their roles as Will McKenzie, Jay Cartwright, Neil Sutherland and Simon Cooper respectively, as they head to Australia, in the sequel to the 2011’s hit film.
The films are based on the E4 sitcom of the same name, which was created and written by Damon Beesley and Iain Morris, and followed the story of teenager Will and his three of his friends at Rudge Park Comprehensive.
The cast were a "tight-knit family" while they worked on the series and ‘The Inbetweeners Movie’, and came on board quickly when the decision to make a sequel arose.
A source previously said: "It wasn’t easy for any of the guys involved to call it a day after the last film. They were a tight-knit family and really missed each other when it all came to an end.
"The writers, Damon Beesley and Iain Morris, have been knocking ideas around for a while and came up with something they thought would be good enough to maintain the high standards they have set.
"They never thought all the lads would be up for coming back so soon as they have become big stars in their own right. But when James said he was game the other week, everything seemed to click into place."
Emily Berrington, Freddie Stroma and David Field are new cast additions.
