The Duchess of Cambridge hails King’s College Hospital as ‘remarkable’

The Duchess of Cambridge has hailed the medical team at King’s College Hospital as "remarkable".
The 35-year-old royal visited the hospital on Monday (12.06.17) to meet with the staff and patients who were involved and affected by the horrific terror attack that took place in London’s Borough Market and London Bridge earlier this month.
The centre saw a total of 14 members of the public admitted to King’s College Hospital following the horrific incident, and Duchess Catherine believes the team’s fast response to the fatalities and injuries that came flooding through their doors was "amazing".
Speaking to the staff during her visit, which has been reported on Hello! Online, the brunette beauty – who has three-year-old son Prince George and two-year-old daughter Princess Charlotte with her husband Prince William – said: "I suppose at the time you didn’t know how big or what the extent of the incident was.
"You just got your heads down and got on with it. The response was amazing.
"What you do is remarkable."
Although Catherine – who was formerly known as Kate Middleton prior to marrying the Duke of Cambridge – "presumes" the staff are "trained to cope" with such a tragedy, she also believes when a terrifying incident takes place everyone remains focused and sets to work on caring for those injured.
She added: "It must have been a busy night for you. The teamwork seems fantastic. Have you ever experience anything like this before? The quick response everyone had was really impressive. Well done.
"I presume you are trained to cope with this but hope this kind of incident never happens.
"I suppose you have a job to do and you just get your head down and get on with it."
