The Chase’s 1000th ep to include all 5 chasers

The Chase’s 1000th episode will feature all five chasers.
Bosses behind the game show have decided to shake things up in celebration of the programme’s milestone by doing an hour-long special featuring Shaun ‘The Barrister’ Wallace, Mark ‘The Beast’ Labbett, Anne ‘The Governess’ Hegerty, Paul ‘The Sinnerman’ Sinha and Jenny ‘The Vixen’ Ryan.
The show’s host Bradley Walsh said: "We’ve made it to the 1000th episode of ‘The Chase’ as the show is so entertaining and informative. I’m so lucky I get to be a part of such a great team and have a laugh at work, I even learn some things too.
"People love it because they can see how much we are enjoying ourselves. The special is going to be one chase fans won’t want to miss."
The forthcoming special will see a different professional quizzer – known as The Chaser – face each contestant, for the first time ever in the programme’s history, in the Cash Builder round, before the fifth and final chaser will take on the group of successful challengers in the last round.
The 1000th episode of ‘The Chase’ will hit television screens across the country on Thursday, September 28 at 5pm on ITV.
